Some updated furniture would have made our stay a million times more comfortable. The bed was small and uncomfortable -we entertained the idea of putting the children in the master and the adults taking the 2 singles. A bigger clothes drying option would have been really useful - with some wet days and humidity it was really difficult to get washing and beach stuff dry with a tiny clothes horse and 4 people (when unable to use the outdoor line due to weather).

Location was amazing. Spectacular view, easy walk to the surf beach and short 2 minute drive or longer walk to the beautiful river mouth. Kangaroos on the lawn in the mornings was a treat for the kids. Basic level accomodation however the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our simple meals. We had no issues with hot water supply as has been referenced in other reviews. Two loos always a bonus!! Excellent base to explore the magnificent Sapphire Coast.

Hot water service was a bit unsatisfactory at times, and was unpredictable. Bathroom basin wooden surrounds are a bit old and possibly a bit unhygienic. Otherwise the kitchen, beds and bedrooms and living room were fine. Clothes storage in the second bedroom could be better.

Excellent location, close to both the Pambula surf beach and the Pambula river mouth, which is just beautiful. Great outlook over the beach from the living room and balcony. Pambula town, though compact, has all you need for a comfortable holiday - good shops, pizza joint, Thai restaurant and excellent Toast Cafe for brunches. Lorikeets visited us when we were sitting out on the balcony, adding color and joy to our cups of tea.

Showers didn’t stay warm for very long at all. A starter pack, pepper and salt in the shakers and an oven tray would have been very helpful.

Location, views over Pambula Beach excellent. Approachable, friendly, responsive hosts.

The double bed mattress was comfortable but a bit saggy in the middle. Whilst there was a basin outside the toilet; not having a basin in the bathroom was a bit weird. The dining room chairs were not comfortable and were cold metal; wooden chairs would have looked better.

The location of the apartment was the best part; the views of the sea and beach were superb and it only took 2 mins to walk to the beach & 10 mins to walk to the river. The apartment had lots of space with two living areas.

Great location looking down Pambula Beach to Merimbula. Excellent value for lots of space - big balcony, main bedroom and living area overlooking the ocean; two big bedrooms; two separate living areas. Basic old style holiday house but with all the facilities needed, and very clean and very comfortable. Two minutes walk to the beach. And Pambula Beach is a great place to relax especially in covid times - few people, lots of space, lots of national park to walk through, some of the best rocky headlands in NSW to scramble over. Beach, river and coastal headland environments within a few minutes of the house.

Nothing, apart from some minor maintenance issues perhaps. Care is required when using the driveway.

Fabulous location. We just enjoyed watching the beach from the lounge, and access to the beach itself was an easy walk. We only ventured out a couple times to Pambula and Tathra for lunch, supplies and haircuts.

Privacy was an issue with the bathroom/toilet window (sill at top of bath height), the kids bedroom and second living area sliding doors opening onto a courtyard on either side of the house which were accessible by the dwelling behind, resulting in 2nd living area not being used and kids bedroom and bathroom blinds always closed, not good for natural light and ventilation on hotter days. With 2 young kids I couldn’t leave them in the courtyards with strangers possibly coming by. Plus we had regular use of the clothes line in 1 courtyard by the occupant of the dwelling at the rear. Bed was not comfortable, I am tall and was not able to stretch out as it was only a double bed (not a queen) with a bed end. Kitchen very complicated to use, toaster very complicated – burnt toast, veggie steamer insert didn’t have a matching sized pot, had to make do with boiled veggies, even the veggie peelers didn’t work well, glad I took my own kitchen knife. Kitchen tap not fixed to sink properly, water goes everywhere. All floors are timber, no carpet so not comfortable for kids to play on the floor. Notes said to carefully separate waste, but only 1 small bin provided in the house forcing separation to take place at the outside bins, but then extra intrusion from I assume rear dwelling occupant with bins put out for collection prior to us leaving, not too keen on separating waste out on the edge of the road! Payment arrangement quite heavy handed, no warning that approx. one third would be taken from my account once my credit card info was keyed in during the booking process. Similarly, no warning that the remainder would be taken out of my account, on other sites I have always paid according to a payment schedule using BPay, at least I’ll know where to look when unauthorised spending happens on my account. Booking.com messaging system didn’t work well, a message I hit send on didn’t actually get sent.

The location and the views of the ocean were great. The hot water was dropping out 5 or 6 times during a shower but management got onto it very quickly to fix it. Comfortable mattresses but see below re main bed.

Nothing I can really fault except the shower water temperature changed a bit up & down.

Great position house only 3 minutes walk to the SLSC, It's just at the start of the hill & has great ocean views from the lounge/dining room & main bedroom. There's even another great size lounge room off the second bedroom which also has a TV & couch.
