Susan River Homestead if perfect for families - so much to do, in a beautiful and relaxing environment. We took our mountain bikes and rode around the homestead, and went horse riding in the afternoon. Just perfect. Breakfast was included in our room cost - simple, but good. The staff were very helpful and accommodating - it was lovely to be greeted each morning at breakfast by the Homestead owner!

Horse riding and water sports await at Susan River Homestead Adventure Resort, set on 1600 acres with a private lake at its centre. Facilities include a swimming pool, 2 tennis courts and a volleyball court. Susan River Homestead is a 25-minute drive from Hervey Bay Airport and free airport transfers are provided. Hervey Bay town centre is a 20-minute drive away. All rooms are air-conditioned and each has a private bathroom. Tea/coffee making facilities are provided, along with bed linen, towels and a flat-screen TV. WiFi is available in the reception area. Guests can try water skiing and wakeboarding on the lake or horse riding under the moonlight. There is also a trampoline, cinema room and games room with billiards. The tour desk can arrange trips to Fraser Island and whale watching tours.
