I booked the house for the night before my wedding for myself and bridesmaids (unfortunately not all could make it the night before - but was PLENTY of room for all 8 of us + hair and make up team, photographer, videographer and other family members the next morning) and the night of for my parents and some family members from out of town. The property is absolutely picture perfect! The most beautiful views, and so much space. The house was almost too perfect for my wedding day morning photos. The owners were incredible! Gave so much information and made sure nothing was left out - they even left a beautiful little card for my now husband and I for our special day 🥰 I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a picturesque place for pre wedding/wedding photography or even just a relaxing little holiday with family and or friends.

Tama Ridge Eco Retreat is perfect for couples, families or small groups alike. This light and airy 3 bedroom pole home is completely off the grid, we operate on solar electricity, tank water and septic sewage and are working on keeping our carbon footprint down with environmentally friendly products all while giving our guests a comfortable and relaxing experience. The moment you step in the front door, you will be met with huge open spaces and a stunning view. You can lounge back on the red leather chase lounges sipping on a glass of your favourite beverage whilst taking in the awe this property has to offer, or at night enjoy stargazing on the expansive deck. In winter you can snuggle up in front of a cosy fire. You will love cooking up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen where basic essentials are supplied for your convenience, all the while still enjoying the fabulous views and the company of your family and friends.
Hi, I'm Kerry and I'm your host. I'm an animal lover who has a love of the outdoors, country drives, bushwalking and camping. I also love gardening with my favourite being Australian rain-forest natives, gingers and palms. The gardens at Tama Ridge Eco Retreat are a work in progress that I keep adding to as time permits. I get a lot of enjoyment from sharing our Flaxton home with guests. I am available to answer any questions you may have via phone, text or email.
Tama Ridge Eco Retreat is conveniently located halfway between the quaint villages of Montville and Mapleton where you can enjoy country living at it's best. Stroll through bespoke gift shops and boutiques then enjoy a coffee or tea while soaking up the hinterland view. We are also around 30 minutes from the Sunshine Coast Beaches, world famous Australia Zoo, Aussie World, the heritage listed Big Pineapple and the Glasshouse Mountains. For the nature lover we are on the rim of "the Great Walk" with Kondalilla Falls being under 5 kilometres away and less than 8 kilometres from Mapleton Falls National Park. A huge attraction of this area is the peace and quiet that is Hinterland living, one that we and our neighbours appreciate very much.
