The Bright House has been designed and built with sustainability in mind. Featuring recycled red bricks, hand picked from a factory in Melbourne, recycled Messmate upstairs flooring and stairs, solar hot water, hydronic heating, double glazing and LED lighting. The kitchen is equipped with everything you'll need to make breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, should you wish to cook, and a coffee machine with eco-friendly, compostable coffee capsules. The yard features a vegie garden, fruit trees, and thornless blackberries, in season, the fruit of which are shared with guests. A washing machine and dryer are also available and are located in the European laundry for use, free of charge. Offering 1 King bedroom with ensuite and 2 additional bedrooms (1 King bed, 2 Single beds). All beds can be split into king singles or joined to form Kings on request - 48 hours notice required. Additionally, there are also 2 sofa beds that can be setup on request (additional charges apply). All bedrooms rooms have lamps and alarm clocks, and linen is provided. Shampoo, body wash, and hairdryers are provided in the bathrooms. The door code will be texted to you on the afternoon of your arrival.
Bendigo is a thriving city with a fabulous foodie culture, beautiful buildings, parks, and gardens. While you're in town, we'd recommend booking a table at the Brougham Arms just around the corner from The Bright House. No kickbacks coming our way, just good food. Plus you can walk home. Bonus!
Please note that The Bright House is located in a quiet residential area only a few hundred meters to the heart of Bendigo CBD. We have a strict no parties policy. We also ask that you are mindful of our elderly back neighbour and keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.

Refundable damage deposit
A AUD300 damage deposit is required 7 days before arrival (about USD209.08). This deposit will be fully refunded 7 days after check-out, as long as there isn't any damage to the property.

Please let the property know your expected time of arrival, email address and mobile phone number, using the special request box when booking or using the contact details found on the booking confirmation as check-in details and door entry code will be sent to guests at 14:00 on the day of your arrival. In the case of same day bookings, the door entry code will be sent to guests within 30 minutes of the property receiving guest confirmations and once payment is successfully made and Photo ID provided by sms.

The Bright House is a nonsmoking property. If you or your guests do smoke, please ensure that you do so outside and dispose of your cigaret butts in the red-lid wheelie bin in the garage. If cigaret smoke is detected in the apartment, or the key/garage remote is lost, a $300 fee applies per item. Additional cleaning fees starting from $100 apply if the house requires additional cleaning (dishes, bbq cleaning, carpet cleaning etc).
Please note that the property requires all lights, heaters and air-conditioners to be switched off at check-out.

A damage deposit of AUD 300 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. That's about 209.08USD. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full by credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
