I like when random picks turn out to be hidden gems. That was the case with The Lodge at Broulee. Expectations being exceeded would be an understatement. Spacious rooms/units (I stayed in one on ground floor), tastefully done interiors, it strikes a difference and catches your attention upon entry. It invites and welcomes you in rather than being a cloak room for your luggage and a bed to crash onto for the night. All amenities provided as a self-service apartment plus the provisions goes to show that owners think of hospitality by putting themselves in the guests' shoes. I must admit it made me feel like a home-stay more than a 'motel'. Loved my chat with Marko (owner) and appreciate his work and progress with the property. I wouldn't be surprised if he renames it as a 'resort' instead of a 'motel' soon :) Quiet neighborhoods/surrounds added onto how I like my stay at the coast to be. Short walk to the vast South Broulee beach was a plus.

I don't know how old this Motel is But the rooms are like Brand New. Refurbished to the max EVERYTHING new. Very comfortable beds Huge curved screen TV Full kitchen New. Very spacious bathroom New. Across the road to the beach. Sparkling clean pool as was the room itself Sparkling clean. I would recommend the Lodge to anyone to stay for a short break or a longer stay. Very happy with my stay.

    Our beach is 2-3 minutes walking distance away from the significant South Broulee beach away. There is no need for a shuttle service.

  • I see you have charger for a tesla electric car. But if its not available , Is it possible to plug in my 5m cable to a normal 10 amp power point over night.
    Due to safety reason we offer only a charge through Tesla installed charger. We never had a shortage of charger for our guests.

  • How can I get to the closest beach from the property?
    The Lodge Broulee is just 200 meter- or 2 minutes walking distance from the main South Broulee beach away. The South Broulee beach is for your own safety under surveillance by life guards from the Broulee Surf Club.
