Beautiful house and garden in a quiet location at the end of the street. The house had a lovely interior, with everything needed for a family holiday. Loved reading about the history of the house, which made us appreciate the character of the place. We loved the outdoor shower, even in the middle of winter. Hosts were amazing and answered all queries immediately. We look forward to another stay at the old School House. Thank you Irena and Simon :)

Excellent location in Port Campbell. House has such character with a lovely fireplace.

Very beautiful house with lots of outdoor areas. Close to nature. Bedrooms are nice and quiet.

Amazing house, so cosy and nicely decorated! We only stayed for 1 night but wished we could stay longer. The weather wasn’t great when we stayed at the Old School House but the garden is lovely when it’s nice weather. We loved the fire place.

Everybody can find their own space to stay and enjoyed the time. We love this place a lot.

Gorgeous poperty. Everything was thoughtfully provided. Spotlessly clean and tidy. The owners love for the property is evident from the beautiful garden which is obviously an ongoing work in progress.

The surroundings planted with different plants and flowers which is very knowledgeable

It is a charming home full of character. the house is best suited to a family or group of friends of up to 6 people.

Character home walking distance to Port Campbell town centre and beach. About a 10 minute drive to the 12 Apostles and other great attractions of the Great Ocean Road. Tranquil setting at the end of a quiet street. Free NBN WIFI, free on site parking available for at least two cars in front of the house.
The Old School House is a joint project by husband and wife team Simon and Irena. Simon and Irena love getting out and about hiking and exploring, enjoy hanging out on the beach and dining out in groovy restaurants. They enjoy traveling together and spending time with the kids. Simon and Irena live in Melbourne but spend time in their holiday house whenever they can. "Although we live in Melbourne, we have put a lot of effort and thought into our house and hope that it will meet or exceed your expectations and that you will have a relaxing and wonderful stay in our house. Should anything be lacking or should anything need improving, please contact us to let us know. We appreciate your feedback."
The Old School House is a leisurely 900 meters to Port Campbell beach and town centre. The beach is situated in a bay and is therefore suitable for swimming most time of the year. There is also the river at the end of the beach which is great if you are traveling with small children. Port Campbell town has a tourist information centre, police and a CFA fire station, a local grocery store, a petrol station and a number of nice cafes. The 12 Apostles are only a 10-15 minute drive from the house, same with Loch Ard Gorge, the Gibson Steps, London Bridge and the Bay of Martyrs. Visit the neighbouring towns of Princetown (Gellibrand river is great for fishing and kayaking, the boardwalk is beautiful and there is also a nice walk along the river/lake to the wild beach, which you might have all to yourself) and Peterborough (big river/lake, safe swimming beach). Take an inland drive to Timboon and enjoy a delicious lunch with local produce at The Distillery. Visit the local cheese farmers, the strawberry farm, Gorge Chocolates and the local brewery. About a 45 minute drive, will take you to the edge of the Otway National Park with lots of great walks for the whole family
