Quiet spot backed up onto the amazing sand dunes. Clean private cabins were very comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Will be staying again for sure!

AustraliaThe staff were very welcoming and helpful. The park was clean and tranquil. The kitchen utensils and crockery were amazing. The best stocked kitchen we have ever stayed at. Even had picnic sets available! We even had our own enclosed backyard for our dog, with a kennel!

Close to walk in the sand dunes which is great for kids and takes 20 minute walk over the sand dunes to the beautiful beach. But can drive to shops , beaches and a pub in five minutes. Really good affordable accommodation.

Was great to have everything we needed in the cabin, random things that you don’t think to bring with you (tongs, glad wrap, tea towels, bowls etc) very well equipped cabins. We loved that we had a front deck with seating area and pretty much a back yard where we could take our dogs out. Great value for money as many other similar holiday parks charge double the price. We would stay again.

Set on a quiet 4-acre property, The Retreat Port Stephens offers self-contained accommodations with free Wi-Fi, cooking facilities and a private patio with outdoor setting. Guests can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, BBQ facilities and games room.

I have been in the Tourism and Hospitality industry now for 20+ years and love to see everyone enjoying their holiday. Port Stephens is a beautiful part of the world and my job is to ensure you have a wonderful stay and assist with your activities while staying in the area.
Locally we have Anna Bay shops where I highly recommend the local bakery, butcher, Thai Resturant, LJ's takeaway and Anna Bay Tavern for a great pub meal. Anna Bay is the gateway to the sand dunes which is a must see and do when in Port Stephens. Birubi Beach is our closest beach and at the surf club there is a beautiful cafe called Crest which offers amazing breakfasts and lunches over looking the 32km stretch of beach and sand dunes
