Amazing location right across from the beach. This presents as a traditional beach shack with a 70's feel. We loved it. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Really clean and cosy. Wished we had stayed 2 nights. Would recommend.

The 'shack' was peaceful, quiet with spacious living areas and a wonderful outlook to the sea. It was well equipped with outside bbq, ample car parking and privacy. A great place to stay with the sound of the waves lapping the shore.

Great elevated position with beach and water views. Cosy with wood heating , comfortable beds and extensive kitchen facilities. Shower was great with plenty of hotwater.

The fire was already lit when we arrived so the whole house was already warm, that was really lovely to arrive to. The views were amazing, we could hear the ocean while keeping warm inside. The beds were very also very comfortable!

Cosy house with great views and a rustic feel. So much to do in the area including lots of short walks and Hastings caves. It rained quite a bit during our trip but just being out here made for a tranquil and magical weekend. Hope to come back soon and stay for longer.

Perfect place to UNWIND. 'The Shack' is positioned in the privacy of the surrounding bushland and has prime spot sitting in an elevated position overlooking the pristine waters of Southport.The property overlooks Deephole Bay and Pelican Island that are renown for excellent fishing,boating,diving and kayaking.A wooden boat ramp allows for recreational fisherman and the on water enthusiast.A National Park affords day trips to explore Hastings Caves and Thermal Pool,Tahune Air Walk,Hartz Mountain and bushwalking tracks.'The Shack' is a stones throw across the road from Kingfish Beach and a wonderful sheltered swimming spot with pristine white sand which is great for the whole family. Entering through a sunroom which is ideal for removing shoes and hats it flows through to the open living space which has a dining area and a full kitchen.A cozy wood fire heats up the open plan living and dining areas. Outside entertaining is provided by a deck and an open wood bbq area.
'The Shack' is the perfect place to unwind. I enjoy hosting to receive the amazing feedback from guests that they have enjoyed the peace and quiet;gazing at the water from the lounge room whilst having a cup of tea;the cozy wood fire of a night time;the the ultimate get away from a stress;the family outings.
