The location was excellent, a short walk to the shops, cafes and market. The villa was cosy and inviting. The beds were extremely comfortable. The airconditioning was good and we used the gas fireplace which was excellent. We also enjoyed sitting on the verandah and having a wine. We highly recommend Villa Sorelle. c

The stay was very comfortable and the villa was very clean when we arrived, with hand sanitiser and disposable gloves for the covid times. We had almost everything we needed in the kitchen to cook our meals. The location was perfect, so close to the shops, and there was barely any noise from the neighbouring villas :) Loved the log gas heater (always my favourite part of any stay..) and just how welcoming and inviting the decor was overall. It really felt like being at home. The balcony was also so gorgeous, surrounding by greenery away from the bustle of the roads, and lots of visits from the local birds. Bathrooms were also really clean and pretty!

The place is great, well equipped for heating and cooling and very clean. A TV in each room + one in the living room made it very convenient for chilling out. We had snow outside and we never felt cold. The fireplace + heaters worked very well.

Villa Sorelle is a two-story townhouse, located in the heart of beautiful Daylesford. The Villa is part of the tree lined Courthouse Villa complex in Camp St. This unique property has two large bedrooms, king size beds or king singles if you prefer, each with a flat screen TV. Two modern bathrooms, master with a corner spa. Open plan, living dining and full kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Lounge with gas log fire and TV. Villa guests can take advantage of the large heated pool.

Neighborhood info

The Daylesford-Hepburn Region is famous for its mineral waters and is known as the Spa Centre of Australia. Our beautiful scenery includes the famous Lake Daylesford, the Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens and the Wombat State Forest. There are historic buildings in the main street of Daylesford and the region’s history lies in the rush for gold. Lake Daylesford now covers land upon which gold was first discovered and offers lakeside picnic spots, cafes, walking tracks, fishing and pedal boating. The internationally known Lake House sits on its shores and there are public BBQ facilities and amenities adjacent to the main parking area. Lake Jubilee is located south of Daylesford (about a 10-15 minute drive) and is ideal for fishing, boating and swimming. If you are looking for a waterfall, visit Sailor’s Falls, less than 30 minutes south from the Daylesford Town Centre. If you are into the outdoors, Daylesford sits at the junction of three walking trails that are part of the Great Dividing Trail – the Lerderderg Track, the Dry Diggings Track and the Wallaby Track. The Hepburn Regional Park is a little less challenging and contains mineral springs and relics of the bygone gold era.
