A beautiful fireplace by which all of us enjoyed a glass of wine. Insanely comfortable beds and linen. Loved our stay!

The house had a lovely cosy feel to it, in a beautiful garden setting. The weather was a bit cold and wet so we didn't make use of the garden, but enjoyed the view from the living room while we sat around the fire, played games and read books. Very restorative. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was easy to shop at the local supermarket and make our own meals.

Nestled on the edge of Mansfield, Wahroonga is the perfect place for families and friends to get together to relax, have fun and stay connected. It is a spacious, light filled country hideaway where you can easily lose track of tim THE HOUSE Caters for both individuals and groups. Choose a spot on the cosy lounge, in front of the fire for those winter months, or under the aircon to escape the summer heat. There is a separate rumpus lounge, also with a split system, which is great for kids, teenagers and adults who may want some craft space, game time or a comfy TV room.The large kitchen table is a perfect place to get together and share some stories and a meal. It’s easy to cook up a storm for a large family or group in the wide galley kitchen which has a fabulous 90cm gas oven, large fridge and loads of bench space. Stocked with quality cooking equipment. The front verandah is perfect for some quiet time, a restful place to watch the world go by and listen to the birds and the wind. Each bedroom can be a retreat also, to enjoy some time out. All rooms have a beautiful outlook into either the garden or through the trees to the Blue Range. many OUTDOOR LIVING spaces to enjoy
MANSFIELD MAGIC *Mansfield is renowned for its great cafes and restaurants, boutique and quirky shopping, the community armchair (and beanbag!) cinema, hotels, galleries, markets and festivals. There is usually something interesting happening in the Mansfield area. *Apart from the obvious big attraction of the snow, kids can be easily entertained with activities including the fabulous MAZE; paintball; mini golf; the armchair cinema; skate park; horse-riding; tennis courts; playgrounds ; bike riding; river walks and swimming. *This region is popular for snow sports(Mt Buller and Mt Stirling) and water sports (on the lakes and rivers); road and mountain bike riding; fishing; horse-riding; 4WD; golf; tennis etc. .The nearest boat ramp is 20 min away and it is only 30 min to the base of Mt. Buller and MT Stirling. *Within a few hours drive you can explore remote and fascinating historic gold mining towns , follow the trail of Ned Kelly and other bush rangers or plan a 4WD visit to the famous Craig's Hut (rebuilt copy of the original hut featured in The Man from the Snowy River ). It is also well worth taking that leisurely drive to check out great nearby village cafes
