The property has lovely views of Shoal Bay which could be viewed from the verandah as well as inside the house. It was great to sit and watch the wallabies come out and play at sunset before settling down to graze later in the evening. If you left the blinds up at night you could lie in bed and count the stars through the large bedroom windows. At the bottom of the windows you could just make out the light from Cape Jervis lighthouse. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. My husband and I were extremely impressed with the whole experience and would certainly recommend the property

Wallaby Retreat is just sensational! My partner and I were looking for a tree change from the city and this home was perfect. So close to Kingscote, it’s in a great location to get around KI. the house itself has everything we needed for 4 days, so clean and comfortable. And it totally lives up to its name, with up to 20 wallabies grazing around the property at different times of the day. I would highly recommend this home, exceptional!

This property was a great find. Perfectly located just 5 minutes from town yet it feels totally immersed in nature with expansive views blocked only by kangaroos, wallabies and echidnas. The house is spacious and modern and laid out to make the most of the view.

The location is superb. On the gentle rise of a hill, enough to see over the Wallaby's, the Kangaroos, the tree-scape and into the Bay Of Shoals and to the other side. Peaceful and quiet, a real retreat. Pleasantly well equiped and large roomy premises.
