Staying underground in White Cliffs is a unique experience. The motel is extensive and the rooms are spacious. We shared a family room and it was huge. It was a bit of a trek to the shared bathrooms but you can't expect ensuites when you're underground in the arid outback. The natural climate control is amazing at a constant 20 - 22 degrees. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was much appreciated. We all enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant. Don't miss sunset or sunrise on the 'rooftop' above the motel. There is also a wonderful history display and information about local town characters which gives good context to the White Cliffs experience.

Amazing experience staying underground. Room was spacious and clean. We were relatively close to the reception so could use the restrooms there during the night rather than the walk to the bathrooms. (Rooms 4 and 5 had backdoors which led almost directly to the bathrooms). Drinks and Dinner in the on-site restaurant were great and guests chatted and socialised together. Climbing the back stairs to watch the sunset was an awesome (if cold) experience. Included Breakfast was plentiful and sufficient.

Everything. The whole experience was mind blowing. Right from the rooms, the common areas, the sunset, suneise view from the top. We were also lucky to see the full moon rising up the horizon. It was interesting to go through the write-ups about the history of the place.

Meals were good, staff were fantastic and the location was great. Excellent value for money and adequate parking. Pool looked good, through we were there in winter/spring so we didn't make use of it.
