CanadaCheck in/out was quick, no 'extra charges'. Staff is great. Ingrid, Maya. Sander (?) at the amigo restaurant. They made me feel welcome. Included breakfast is real food. Eat at the restaurant or take away. 2 nice pools with many attractive views. Music or other activity at the bar each night. Ingrid arranged airport transportation for much less $$ than the norm. Also there is a comped shuttle to a couple beaches or Oranjestad. From any of those its easy to grab a bus to other areas on the island. I did not rent a vehicle so this was a much cheaper option. Taxis are available, but pricey. The wifi is fast & dependable through out the property.

As we had mostly contact with Maya from reception we would like to mention how super friendly and helpful she is. Always a smile on her face. We stayed 9 nights and had breakfast included which was great. You have several options to choose from with either juice, tea or coffee. And with each comes a small fruit bowl :).loved it. Sander working at the bar/restaurant is awesome. Super fast no matter how busy it is. Always smiling and easy to talk to. Worth gold! The rooms are basic but have a good size and are clean. Pool was in front of our room and there were always pool chairs available. The loaction of the hotel is great. If you dont rent a car (which you should :)), there is a free shuttle from the hotel to Palm Beach, Eagle Beach and the center from Monday to Saturday. If we come back to Aruba, we will certainly stay again at Blue Village
