A vibrant bustling, noisy city with much to see and enjoy.
A vibrant bustling, noisy city with much to see and enjoy. Some very decent restaurants and the city is easy to get around thanks to the thousands of tuk tuks and cycle rickshaw. Beware the traffic jams though! And to get away from the noise take a trip to the tranquil botanical gardens.

Dhaka!
Dhaka!
Traffic has eased slightly from earlier, as several new flyovers have been commissioned.
Expressways are open, Metrorail services are running, but noise pollution remains the same

As a native of this bustling city, Dhaka's charm lies in its unapologetic chaos. For those unfamiliar, the initial encounter with the city's bustling streets and animated markets might be perplexing. However, once you acclimate to the rhythm of Dhaka, you'll find an unparalleled vibrancy that outshines the orderliness of more structured cities worldwide.
Dhaka is a haven for those who thrive in the midst of disorder, a realm where unpredictability fuels an exhilarating experience. It's not a destination for those seeking spoon-feeding or stringent organization. Instead, it beckons to those who revel in the unexpected, offering a unique tapestry of culture, commerce, and commotion. In Dhaka, chaos isn't a flaw but a defining feature, making it a must-visit for those who dare to embrace the unpredictable and find beauty in the midst of disorder.
One undeniable allure of Dhaka for visitors from around the globe is the remarkably affordable cost of living. In this vibrant city, most individuals will find that things are not just reasonably priced but extraordinarily cheap. Whether it's indulging in local cuisine, navigating the bustling markets, or exploring the rich tapestry of cultural experiences, Dhaka caters to budget-conscious travelers, providing an opportunity to stretch your dollar further than in many other destinations.
From street food to transportation, the city's affordability opens doors for exploration without breaking the bank. For those seeking an adventure without a hefty price tag, Dhaka stands out as a budget traveler's paradise, offering an array of experiences that won't dent your wallet.

Given that the average income in Bangladesh is significantly lower than Western standards, it's challenging for the typical person to cover their expenses. Bangladeshi people are generally hardworking and, for the most part, very honest. However, when interacting with small shop owners, especially when dealing with foreigners, they may occasionally inflate their prices. This practice isn't common in larger stores or malls.
I've developed a deep appreciation for the people of Bangladesh, particularly those in the villages compared to those in the cities. There are truly beautiful sights to behold in this country as well.

Dhaka is the captial of Bangladesh with 40 million populations. There is alwasy the traffice on the road, no matter whenever it is. Passengers and vehicles are crowded over the road. Living cost is bit high since the grocery price is high compared to the GDP, but hotel room rate is okay.

Dhaka is a vibrant and bustling city with a rich history and culture. From the colorful rickshaws to the aromatic street food, there's always something to discover in this city. The people are friendly and welcoming, and the architecture is a mix of old and new styles. However, the traffic in Dhaka can be overwhelming, and pollution is a major issue. If you can handle the chaos, it's definitely worth exploring the many museums, markets, and historic sites that this city has to offer. Overall, Dhaka is a unique and fascinating city that is sure to leave a lasting impression on any visitor.
First of all A masive thanks to Mr Nahid, the manager of Best Western Maya. He has been superb in assisting me from booking the room to airport pick and drop. Mr Nahid has been thoroughly professional, friendly and welcoming. His managment skills will help BW to become a prolific hotel in Dhaka. Great person indeed. Rooms are very nicely designed amd clean
Also my sincere thanks to mr Tiklu chakma and mr Michael at restaurent section for looking after me. They are very professional.
Staff are very concerned about the guest. As hotel car was not available the staff Mr. Shariar did arrange a Uber taxi. He was kind and concerned enough to check if I reached the place safe and if I was in need of taxi for return trip. Such gestures will go a long way in building good relationships with guest. Very highly appreciate his concern. When I return back to Dhaka I will prefer to stay at this hotel
I really like their service. Everything is clean and tidy & the hotel staff is very friendly. At the same time I think it is located in an important place of Dhaka city. It is very easy to get anywhere from here. Specially reciption officer Md. Najim & Md. Mithu r very friendly & helpful. Thanks both of you.
Conveniently located close to the airport with car transfer option, nice and clean room with an excellent acoustical insulation, great breakfast selection, and the extreme courtesy and professionality of all the staff members. Dhaka Maple Leaf definitely keeps up Best Western good name!
Location is very calm compared to all of Dhaka - leafy green road in a safe area. The hotel is on one floor of a building, which isn’t uncommon in Dhaka. staff was very accommodating and helpful and spoke English. I’d stay here again.
Affordable hotel, with all needed necessities. Great staff. Minimal noise as hotel location is not on the main streets/boulevard in Banani district in Dhaka. Rooms are cleaned daily. Laundry services are also done properly.
Rich breakfast, local Bangladesh and international dishes, friendly pleasant staff, excellent daily room service, affordable hotel, very good laundry service, organised and economic airport pickup and drop-off
One of the best hotel I've stayed in bangladesh, staff, food, restaurant, location, room, bathroom actually 10/10 around if I ever go back to dhaka it's differently going to be heaven Inn no doubt about it.
The location is good and it's fairly close to the airport too. The hotel is fairly simple, but everything needed was there. My room was large and there are very nice restaurants and cafes in the vicinity.
It is in main road and near to the US embassy. The hotel is new and itself it is clean. All the area carpeted except bathroom :P I loved my stay. Location highly recommended for embassy and airport.
Very good hotel and all the staffs are very welcoming, specially Mr Tushar and Mr Tufazzal. Room was quite big. Definitely will visit again when I travel to Dhaka.
Excellent and vety helpful staff. Nice room, good breakfast and super pool. Staff was kind, arranged for taxi too.
Good value for money. Best hotel in old Dhaka.
