Brussels is well-known as the headquarters of many European institutions and is often called the capital of Europe. However, Belgian waffles, beer and chocolate are just a few of the city’s best-known delicacies that can rival its political reputation.
French and Dutch are the city’s two official languages, so all streets and landmarks have two different names: don’t be surprised when you look for Grand Place and end up at Grote Markt!
Don’t miss the famous bronze, aptly named Manneken Pis statue or the futuristic Atomium, a truly unique architectural creation. Wandering through side streets to discover small bookshops, romantic cafés and ethnic restaurants reveals Brussels's charm.
Brussels is a real melting pot of Europe, filled with great museums and art from Memling, Bosch or Rubens, historic breweries and great concert halls. Shopping addicts can visit the world’s first shopping mall, the Saint Hubert Gallery, opened here in 1847.
If you’re arriving at Brussels Airport or South Charleroi Airport, all major attractions are just a short train or bus ride away. Whether you’re looking for a design hotel, a comfortable apartment or a friendly B&B, Booking.com has something perfect for your trip to Brussels.
Brussels is a surprising city. Cosmopolitan and friendly.
Brussels is a surprising city. Cosmopolitan and friendly. Millions of restaurants from different cultures, millions of different tastes served with a smile most of the times. The city combines old heritage buildings with new architectures. One corner is traditional, few steps later, you are in the fourteen hundred and then in a modern city...
Museums are beautiful and exhibitions crowded, so people are culturally alive!

Very underwhelming, felt unsafe a lot of the time and I am a frequent traveler. Prices are quite high compared to the quality of services. I liked the train options that take you outside of Brussels, which I truly recommend, like Bruges or Gent where you truly feel like in a fairytale land.

It was surprising and somewhat better to the image i had of the city.
I can imagine how beautiful it must be in summer. I have never seen people so excited eating unhealthy food until i see how people enjoy Brussels 🍟 frites. Oh the Manneken Pis, what is it aboout it that attract so many people, well it was nice to tick the box.

We're happy we went to Brussels because we had never been.
We're happy we went to Brussels because we had never been. That said, it would not be on a return list for us for just Brussels. If we were passing through for some reason, then maybe we'd stop there again. The Fine Arts Museum was wonderful, we had some good meals, and the Music Instruments Museum was interesting. But other than that, there was not a lot that we were interested in seeing. By going to restaurants, we did see a couple of more charming neighborhoods, and the people seemed genuinely nice. But for us, we didn't have enough to do to make it a destination. The public transportation and easy access to the train stations were great though, so it was very easy to get around. That said, I can see how people would enjoy it more for going out and shopping.

Hearing and reading that the Citizens of Brussels - downtown - cannot enjoy living there, just because of some mafias ... Whereas the still relentless flow of Tourists from the world is being no Rainbow for them to expect a better future.
Together with the Belgians, let's hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Life's like a box of ......... You never know what you're gonna get. The more so when quality remains ... So yes, the People of Belgium are standing together and this ... remains

Brussels is a very interesting city, predominantly...
Brussels is a very interesting city, predominantly francophone but English is spoken when required. The city seems to be a half way point culturally if not exactly geographically between the Dutch / Flemish of the north and the French of the south. Expect direct talking and polite if not necessarily friendly locals. Expect huge varieties of bottled and draught beer (watch the % alcohol, the locals brew high strength beer). Public transport is adequate, not at the level of Nordic cities (e.g. stockholm, copenhagen or helsinki) but perfectly serviceable if not completely intuitive. There are many places to go and city locally, museums, cafes, bars chocolate shops etc but expect to pay for the privilege. Consider the Brussels tourist card but be mindful there is a big premium on the tickets to the airport (+7.50 each way).
The hotel is well connected so you can walk to the Grand Place and around in less than 15 minutes. You have the metro station near the hotel that will connect you to many places too.
The room is double standard, but we consider a little small (but we expected that in the center of Brussels) and is good for a couple.
We didn't try the breakfast but is open from 7 am until 10 am so you can take advantage of it if you have an early departure.
If you are a smoker, you cannot do so due to the hotel's non-smoking policy.
Beautiful Hotel with a very convenient location : far enough from the traffic noise but close enuigh to the city center .
The room was clean and comfortable .
The breakfast has good value for money , nice fresh fruits and a lot of choice .
Most of all: The whole team is amazing : welcoming, helpful, smiling , from Front desk to the ladies serving breakfast and the cleaning ladies .
The perfect place to stay when visiting Brussels
+ Friendly and helpful staff at reception who really went the extra mile. This is one of the best customer experiences I've had in a hotel at any price point.
+ Quiet, modern, and well-equipped room (the TV and bathroom were great)
+ Right next to Gare du Midi, 15 mins walk to city centre albeit through a slightly rough neighborhood
+ Value for money. One of the best places in Brussels.
We got a great welcome from Reception. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and possibly the best pillows we have ever had in a hotel. The room was very clean. The location of the hotel is great, a few minutes walk from the Brussels Central train station and the Cathedral, and 10 minutes or so to the Grand Place. There are lots of restaurants within 10 minutes walk.
We had a really luxurious double room pretty cheap, seemed more like a hotel than a hostel. Clean bathroom, TV and many plug-ins in the room, friendly helpful staff. Nice sitting area in the groundfloor and the hostels offers city tours and other events although we didn’t have time to participate. Close to the city center with many restaurants but still quiet and green!
Location was a big plus and easy access from motorway. You can park and leave the car then take the bus in front of the hotel going to the city center. Staff were friendly! I would like to give them a big thanks for finding my ring which almost got lost. Everything you need for a decent stay is provided. Will consider staying again if I’m back in Brussels. 😊
Great location in the center of Brussels near Grand Place and Central Station. Abundant restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby. Lloyd’s Cafe and Eatery in the lobby. Room was compact but well-organized and efficient for several night’s stay. Very comfortable bed and bathroom. Climate control system was easy and reliable. Would definitely return!
Comfortable room with a small fridge (former minibar, I guess), complimentary water, quiet at night by closed windows. 15 min via a pedestrian street to the very center of Brussels (Grand Place). OK to reach by car. Public garage Rogier is in front of the hotel and is very good. Metro and bus stops nearby.
Don't expect perfection or a brand-new bathroom, but La Bourse is a nice, clean, basic hotel in Brussels' city center. Breakfast had a great variety of sweet and savory. The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful, they try their best to solve any problem or question.
Super close to the airport with a free shuttle service, and we were able to bike into the city center (only 20min). Staff was very helpful on transportation options and refunded my taxi from the airport to the hotel. Staff was able to accommodate us in English and Dutch.
Excellent location across the street from the St Michael and St Gudula Cathedral, Brussels, close to the Grand Place. Walking distance from the Royal Palace.
The hotel itself is gorgeous, it decorative.
Complementary drinks and mini waffles.
Great hotel in every way! Very clean, quiet and a really calm feeling to it. Yet, it’s right in the middle of the city center; with everything right outside the door. Totally recommend this hotel for a stay in Brussels!
incredible location! just 5 minute walk from Brussels Central train station which is an easy commute to the airport, and literally 30 second walk to the Grand Place which is the center of nightlife in the city.
The hotel was few minutes away from Brussels nord and the Grand place. It was luxurious and yhe staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs. Breakfast was superb. It felt we were in a 5 star hotel.
It's all about the location with this tiny hotel. The front door is on La Grand Place, the golden square of Brussels.
The room was big enough, not crowded like most old big city hotels.
The facilities were beyond what we hoped for, i highly recommend booking this hotel. It is perfectly located in Brussels city center, the staff are very welcoming and helpful.
Close to airport shuttle service and railway station. 15 minutes walk to the city center.
We took the room just to sleep before our early flight, so it was the best option.
A nice hotel a short walk from the city centre and Brussels Midi Station, with direct access to the airport. Good breakfast and restaurants at reasonable prices.
