Also within walking distance is MuZee, our contemporary art museum with wonderful works by Ensor and a dynamic exhibition programme. A ten-minute stroll along the promenade will bring you to KAAP, a cultural venue with a lively programme of literature, music and performance events, and to the Spilliaert House, which is devoted to temporary exhibitions on the Ostend painter. Take note: many of the shops are open on Sundays in Ostend. And don’t forget the city’s amazing array of festivals, culinary events and seasonal celebrations, including the fabulous skating rink and Christmas market during the winter months.
