“Patrick welcomed us as soon as we arrived and gave us a very detailed overview of the city, along with suggestions of what to do and where to eat. He is extremely passionate about his city and it is exciting to hear all he has to say! He was very warm and welcoming and always available for any questions or queries. The location is great- a 20 min walk into the city or faster on the bikes he kindly lends out. The house seems large but you do have to manoeuvre a bit to get in between items- you get used to it and it’s no big deal! The supermarket is a 15 min bike ride away. There is a fridge and a stovetop so excellent for making your own meals! The bed is huge and super comfy! The TV is easy to use. The shower is great- a variety of temperature and pressure! Patrick and his wife are eco friendly and there are recycling bins and compost for everything! Fantastic! We absolutely recommend and would love to come back one day :)”

“Hosts were full of great local information which made the stay easy for travelling about and seeing the city. Brilliant access to bus if wanted, or walking/ cycling distance to town. A quirky well thought out space. It's not a 5 star guest house, nor does it claim to be, so it's not for everyone, but we enjoyed our stay. They are very eco focused and that's great. Patrick was even kind enough to give us a lift to the bus station on our departure.”
