GermanyThe Host is such a lovely person who tries to make the stay as comfortable as possible. You can decide your own for having a talk during Breakfast (in my case) or not. The whole house is absolutely lovely in every detail ... I would stay here again...
SwitzerlandNice, authentic stay for one night. Warm-hearted and helpful host, who is communicative in a very positive way. Offering a tasty breakfast for a reasonable extra charge (€7,50). Friendly dogs and a cat are waiting for you! If you really want to feel like at home and benefit from a calm surrounding area, it's a clear recommendation :)

The Cottage is een honderd jaar oud langgevelhoevetje gelegen in een zijstraatje van de hoofdbaan Putte Nederland, richting Antwerpen via Kapellen. Comfort moet een beetje inboeten aan de authensiteit van de woning. Het steile trapje naar boven waar de slaapkamers zijn en toilet en badkamer beneden. Voor de rest is het landelijk, gezellig en gemoedelijk. Mijn kleine bnb is geen hotel maar de bedden zijn groot en prima kwaliteit. Het is rustig en het terras beneden zeer aangenaam om een kopje thee te drinken. Op 5 minuutjes ben je in het kleine bos te voet, het ligt op de fietsroute, drie minuten met de wagen in Nederland, vijf minuten station Kapellen en twintig minuten van Antwerpen. Er is gratis parking voor 1 wagen vooraan, voor een tweede slechts 10 meter verderop. Tal van goede restaurants en cafe's wandelwegen en de heide.
Koken is mijn grote passie, de rust en stilte in mijn omgeving heb ik nodig om in harmonie te leven met mezelf, daar staat tegenover dat ik enorm kan genieten van gasten en zeker als ik ze een maaltijd kan aanbieden. Na jaren in gans de wereld te hebben gewoond, Japan, Korea en Amerika, ben ik blij terug thuis te zijn. In Zuid Frankrijk voel ik me even thuis als hier, daar bezit ik een gezellig appartementje op het gelijkvloers met terras op de rivier. De stijl van deze twee woningen is zeer gelijk, knus en landelijk.
