We loved everything about the property. It was spacious and comfortable. We traveled with 5 kids, and there was room for everyone. The apartment was well equipped and we had everything we needed. The host was lovely and answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly. Parking was easy. It was quiet and cozy. It was the perfect Spring Holiday get-away for my family and our friends.

Wolken & Zout is a comfortable and large apartment with free parking and only a few minutes from the beach. It is located in a quiet area, but close to everything you need: shops, supermarkets, restaurants,.. Soft bedding, sheets and towels are included and for the children there are lots of toys and books. There are 2 large bedrooms with a double bed each and space to hang your clothes. The 3rd bedroom is perfect for kids: it has a cool, double bunkbed so it sleeps 2 on top and 2 on the bottom. Important: these matresses are 80x170cm so while it is perfect for 4 children, it is not suited for 4 adults. However an adult can sleep comfortable here when using the entire lenght of the bunkbed. In the bathroom there are 2 sinks and an XL shower. The toilet is seperate. The open kitchen has everything you might need and the dining table easily seats 8. In the living room there are also many books, magazines and board games available. There is no tv but there is free WiFi so bring an iPad if you can't miss your favorite program ;-) If you need a high chair or babybed then this will be provided for you free of charge.
My husband and I are both interior architects and with our 2 young children we often spend a weekend or holiday here. When we are in Bredene we love to cook, spend time on the beach and go for long walks in the dunes. The peace and quiet here is fantastic and at the same time the creative and energetic city of Ostend is just a short distance away. We hope you will feel right at home here as well. Should you need anything during your stay, just ask!
The beach of Bredene is one of the prettiest along the Belgian Coast thanks to the broad dunes that protect the hinterland. Here you can walk along the beach or in the dunes for miles and miles, wonderful in every season! The apartment is within walking distance of the beach (5 min!) and can be safely reached by a pedestrian tunnel underneath the coastal road. On the beach there are a surfclub and beachbar, both with a fantastic terrace. With the coastal tram you can visit cultural Ostend (10minutes) with its many restaurants, musea, harbour and hip shopping area. In the other direction the tram takes you to beautiful De Haan with its stunning architecture from the Belle Epoque. In the apartment you will find a map with lots of information on things to do in the area, like cultural events, restaurants, musea, family activities,.. and tips about some of our favorite spots!
