The staff was nice and the hotel was clean. The junior suite I used was spacious enough. I also visited friends with kids in an apartment, which was also nice and roomy. The restaurant was good as well, better than what I expected in terms of cuisine, choice and atmosphere. Overall, the hotel topped all of my expectations. Unfortunately, I couldn't try the fun stuff - the SPA facilities and the game room, so I can't say anything about them.

Perfect garden with external restaurant, respect for the designer and the people who maintain it. I was happy to see kiwi fruits growing in Bulgaria in this garden. We spent there mornings and evenings chatting with friends and enjoying good meals.

The room was big even though slightly outdated (still big comfortable beds and air conditioning), the terrace was quite big with table and chairs. The pool was nice and clean with deckchairs around. The restaurant was a nice surprise, as its near the river and within a mini garden, the food was really good.

We stayed in a cozy twin room which overlooked the pool and could be noisy as it was situated directly above the restaurant. The tiny narrow balcony was shared with the adjacent room (no barrier in between) and only one chair per room as there was no space for two chairs. There was just one small table dividing the balcony (really only of any use for people wishing to smoke). The family hotel has an outside swimming pool with an adequate number of sunbeds although you needed to get your towels out first thing in the morning to secure a spot! There is a pretty water feature in the restaurant with a river running next to it, but we did not eat there in the evening. Note: breakfast is not served until 8.30am and is chosen from the menu.

눉The indoor pool couldn't be used and though it was warm enough for the outside pool it wasn't cleaned.

눉The service at the restaurant could have been a little faster and the music better and more coherent. Also, the ironing boards need to be changed, they're in a very bad condition. It won't cost a fortune.

눉Nobody in the location doesnt speak or understand any other language than bulgarian. I was expecting milk and cereals at breakfast for 15 minutes. After i got the cereals, i had to wait for milk. Then i had to ask for spoon. Go there only if you know bulgarian language

눉The pool water was cold even in the mid August. We were not able to enjoy the sunbathing , too cold to stay long in the water. Too many kids playing around the pool of the local management disturbing the guests.

눉We requested a quiet balcony room on top floor and was given a noisy room on first floor. Small 'wet room' style bathroom with no cubicle. There are better value hotels in Sandanksi without pools.

눉Didn't like the shower system direct on the bathroom floor, after taking a shower entire bathroom floor was wet, but I've learned that this is local bulgarian style...

눉No Hot water ! Only limited in the morning. Cold room during the stay. Bug's hive in the bathroom. Air conditioning is not adequate to the room . Restaurant is highly overpriced, size of the food for this price is ridiculous. One of the tasteless food I ever get.

눉appreciating the tolerance to pets, but even all efforts from the cleaning lady the room had an odor of house pets; the booking was for 2+1 but we have received 1+1, not convenient for parents with small child
