CroatiaWell what can I say! Room super comfortable, A/C, tea/coffee, fridge Amazing hosts, nothing too much trouble, even baked vegan cake and made a vegan dinner! Pool clean and sun beds which allow sun all day but there is a shady area near the bar. So close to Roman ruins and 15-20 minutes to veliko turnovo! Worth every penny! Thank you - I will be back as soon as I can.

RussiaWhere do I start.. the turquoise house color was fab, the swimming pool was a godsend for aerobics before breakfast and cooling down at end of day with the swallows dipping in alongside.Parking was safe within the grounds and even the bikers could bring their motors undercover,I was upgraded to the apartment which was really well equipped, spacious shower a la Bulgaria, mattress with bamboo.The breakfasting with watermelon was a treat plus the rainbow salads were works of art. The range of fresh and homemade suppers never ceased to amaze from curry to quiche. The support and knowledge was tremendous and they both made me feel very welcome , I would definitely return and recommend

Food was provided, homemade pizza was brilliant and the continental breakfast was perfect to start the day. We got upgraded as they had been quiet after the Corona virus and put us in the apartment. It was exceptionally clean and spacious, the bed was very comfy and the shower was excellent. Private parking onsite inside the property. Cheap rates for food and drinks. Cannot recommend this place enough to any travellers passing through. Thank you Stephen and Janette!

Our grounds include secure off road parking, a Badminton area and an in-ground swimming pool. We have a Pool Bar where breakfast is served and evening meals can be ordered with prior notice.
Janette and Stephen have years of experience in the hospitality trade in both the UK and Africa.
Nikyup is a traditional Bulgarian village situated on the edge of the Danube Plain. Nikyup is 15min drive from Velika Tarnovo, the historic original capital of Bulgaria, and 5mins drive from the famous Roman ruins at Nikopolis Ad Istrum, said to be some of the finest Roman ruins in Eastern Europe. This site has an ongoing archeological excavation and a visitors centre, taking place annually is a festival with re-enactments of battles and Roman life. 15 mins drive to the Hotnitsa Water Falls, which are some of the most picturesque falls in all of Bulgaria, clime the stairs to the top and continue along the beautiful country Eco trails, or just relax and have a bbq in the park and watch the falls.
