I mainly bought the house for own purposes, with the idea to later retreat there and in the meantime pass some holidays. We fell for the views, the fact that the sea is not very far, and that it is great to retreat there in the quiteness and coolness (few degrees cooler than at the beach) after a busy day. My children really wanted a swimming pool... so I gave in! I love sitting on the (OK worn out) bench and relax. Look at the swallows skimming the swimming pool... Oh yeah.. If you'd come I guess at the end of september, in a good year (and I think 2016 will be one!), and if you bring some equipment, you could make wine from the vineyard in the garden (one year, I hope to be free to do that myself!!).
I am Belgian and I do live in Belgium. But don't worry, Iliya and his family (local people) care for the house and the swimming pool as if it were their own. I work as a SAP consultant.
