The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, were able to book our tour of Mt. Chacultaya and Valley of the Moon at a MUCH more reasonable price than anything found on the internet. We booked and payed for our Lake Titicaca tour before arriving La Paz but would have saved ALOT of money if we would have waited and booked through the hotel. Both of these tours are a MUST, beautiful and well organized! The breakfast was good included fresh fruit and juice along with breads and yogurt. The hotel is simple but clean and nice, hot water all the time/great showers, linens and towels were included, we felt very safe at this hotel. I would stay here again, good price for what we got.

The hotel is very spacious, as too are the rooms. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms clean with no problems with the temperature of the water - hot at all times. Some tours can be booked at the hotel and the price difference between them and local tour companies was very close. Other travel information is also readily available, and when my bus was leaving in the early evening I had the option of being to wait in the reception area free of charge or book the room on a half day basis for half the cost. The centre of town is no more than 5 - 10 minutes away, although it is all up a steeple hill back. A bonus is that there are several small shops nearby that open till late at night, and a laundrette just around the corner.
