Property info

Casa da Gente is a Guest house wich offers confort, nice views of the city and accessibility to numerous touristic spots, restaurants and markets. We are located in the heart of the city, right next to the ancient neighbourhood of Lapa and to the famous Selarón stairs. Just 15 minutes from the flamengo beach, 10 minutes from the subway and 10 minutes from the bohemian neighbourhood of Santa Teresa, know for its cheered bars and live music. The guesthouse is approximately 5 km from Santos Dumont Airport and Novo Rio Bus Station. Observation: • Smoking is only permitted in the garden. The rest of the house and rooms are completely non-smoking.

Neighborhood info

We are in the division of Santa Teresa and Lapa, two of the most iconic and historic neighbourhoods in Rio. Close to touristic spots such as the Arcos da Lapa, the Metropolitan Cathedral, Parque das Ruínas and many more. Safe to walk around and close to Bars and Restaurants. We are located in the same neighbourhood as the statue of Christ the redeemer and the Paineiras.
