Our farm is the transformation of an ordinary rural place, with originally unused land and poor soil conditions, into an alternative life model for a sustainable, self-sufficient, self-sustaining ecosystem, contrary to the current global trend. Our little paradise on earth. We love our life there and share this privilege passionately with our guests. Choose the Fazenda Eco-Jardim to reconnect with nature. Enjoy the silence and closeness of nature, in the midst of a functioning ecosystem, which is operated with the friendliness common in the entire region. In an area where otherwise there is only eroded, very barren, unused land, with very sandy, acid soil, the farm "Eco Jardim" is a successful, functioning model for sustainable agriculture with sustainable yields, which combines the principles of the method "Agricultura Sintrópica" according to Ernst Götsch with knowledge of traditional permaculture.

Spend a sustainable eco-holiday on the Fazenda Eco-Jardim in the heart of Bahia. We take care of your daily deep relaxation, in the middle of a picturesque tropical garden, as well as for a wide and varied cultural offer in the immediate region. If you book a room or Bed&Breakfast with us, you will stay overnight in the midst of a fabulously lush nature. We make up for the lack of an otherwise usual swimming pool with swimming opportunities in the adjacent river and natural ponds. Our hospitality also goes through the stomach and all home-grown and seasonal products can be enjoyed 100% in every meal. Amenities include 24-hour service, a veranda with lounge & dining area, a tropical garden, jogging areas, sports areas, laundry service and much more. A variety of excursions are also organized by us. The offered ecotours focus on the observation of animals and the respectful handling of the plant world. One week of holiday will not be enough to discover the richness and diversity of our estate and the region.

Situated in the middle of a beautiful natural landscape on the river São Pedro, the Fazenda ECO JARDIM offers its guests a magnificent view of untouched nature and rainforests, breathtaking river landscapes and spectacular sunsets. In the immediate vicinity of our farm there are also a variety of excursion possibilities. Did you know that you can experience the golden lion monkeys also called "Mico-Leao-Dourado", here with us very near live in nature? In only 20 minutes from the Fazenda Eco Jardim you reach the nature reserve "Mico Leao Dourado" where you can visit these and other monkeys in protected surroundings. We also offer excursions to Canavieiras, Ilhéus and individual boat trips for swimming and fishing on the river São Pedro. Or spend an adventurous day on the high seas hunting marlin and other fish. If you are looking for a special holiday experience, far away from the usual, everyday bathing holidays on sandy beaches, then you will find the right thing here. Which does not mean that you have to do without your bathing holiday completely. With us there are many alternative possibilities to bathe in fresh water.
