Club downstairs was great! Cheap drinks and good fun. Room was nice, and although there was no AC in my room, the fan and window were an acceptable alternative. Staff is great, and a few of them even speak English. Breakfast was good, and free. Extremely close to Paulista Ave, the main Street for everything.

Location is excellent. Walk to Museums, Metro, tours, lots of food and coffee options including a unique McDonalds. (Wait. There is no unique McDonalds. In Sao Paolo there is.) Sunday Paulista line dancing. Oscar Friere, Augusta and Padre Cardeal Streets. Staff were nice and called me by name even outside the hostel property. Hostel staff and neighborhood made Sao Paulo seem like the liveliest city in the world. Balconies!

Breakfast was meager but Starbucks and lots of other coffee shops are closeby. Sao Paulo's Paulista St early fortunes were made from coffee. Capsule room was small by definition but you could stand in it and for the price it was wonderful to have privacy.

The share mixed gender bathroom on second floor was not so clean, it smelled like pee all the time and its quite small.
I arrived by 4 AM flight, the staff were so accommodating, they made a comfortable place for me to rest while I waited to check in and even let me use the facilities even though I did not check in. This place is quite a bargain, the description on booking.com is very accurate. The staff members are so friendly and welcoming. They are all awesome. Henri the staff member at reception is a super star! Such a bubbly person and so so kind. Always going out of his way to help. Thank you for everything Henri

-The bathroom was gross and the door could not be lockeda -breakfast was the worst I had in Brazil so far. The guy serving it couldn’t seem to care less. -No fridge to keep some stuff -Staff seemed to be quite to themselves or their friends. -There are people from outside the hostel allowed in, as there is a small club. Can get a bit weird. -It’s not a hostel to meet other backpackers

The towel is not included and the price for it is kind of expensive. I feel that the pillows could be covered by the sheets for hygiene purposes, it causes some concern when they are totally uncovered

Maybe i wasnt lucky, but nobody on the reception was able to speak english and they dont understand very well spanish...i booked the female room for 3 nights and we have a guy in our room for 2 nights...they didnt ask if we have a problem with this situation...
The cleaning lady with the glasses is amazing and so friendly, even if we didnt have commun language...

Very noisy with constant parties, smelly toilets, not comfortable beds, very small and dark rooms with no windows, packed with beds, and with a lot of hidden costs for everything. Towels, locks, luggage storage, al these things needs to be paid extra.
