The hostel is located away from the buzzling city so perfect to unwind after a tiring day of activities or after a wild party night. It is however just a short walk to lapa or you can order a Uber. The common area is just great. Perfect to have a beer and meet other people. The view at night looks like a surreal painting, just made for you. So look no further, this is the hostel you want stay at!

The view is amazing. The hostel is very clean. Location is wonderfull as it is on top of a hill, but a part from the parque das ruinas, there's not really a lot to do, so you should walk 15-20 minutes down the hill to enjoy the city (which is very close, once you're down the hill).

The pockets of the pool table are too small, making it difficult to win..

the common bathroom/toilets... very very dirty. And what is very very very disturbing is that you cannot close the door when you take a shower or in thé toilets. Everybody can see you! Better To choose the private room.
I have good and bad feedback To give regarding this hostel. + : the amazing view you have from some rooms and from the big terrace. The breakfast also is very good. The staff was nice but we would have appreciated to have more advise from them.

Stupid waste to have individual breakfast plates where everything that’s not eaten gets thrown away. Would be much better with a buffet instead.
The location and the two terraces are fabulous. The rest is ok, but not more.

Nothing much ! Maybe the hostel is not using his full potential in terms of what they can offer (they have fresh drinks, nice breakfast, probably advices to give in the area)

The showers are a little bit tiny and our bed wasn’t that confortable.

Hostel was very quiet, not suitable to solo travellers or those looking to meet people. Hostel lacked atmosphere. Location was good but not great - not in the heart of Santa Teresa. The bathroom facilities are compact and don’t appear to be cleaned often - daily cleaning of common areas is a must. Staff were pleasant but not very informative.
Great views of the city from the veranda. It’s a quiet hostel and very peaceful if that’s your thing. Breakfast was good and included in the price. You definitely get value for money wit this hostel.

Going down the hill is fun and beautiful, but going up can be tiring and dark, so you must take a moto-boy from Gloria station. But still it’s totally worth it!
