The spa services were excellent, and the staff are exceedingly professional and gracious. This is a charming place to relax and regroup after your flight or after a long day of hiking. I treated myself to a night at Le Meridien Paro after hiking to the Tiger's Nest, and it was the perfect ending to an incredible day.

A.The breakfast spread wasnt really great ..with limited choices and not really what you expect in a Le Meridian hotel. B. The hotel is about 15 mts distance from Paro town and you would need a taxi to commute and the local taxi charged 200 Nu. The hotel Front Desk offered us help one such time, by asking us to use their taxi for which they would charge us the same rate as local taxi. We confirmed the same with the driver as well before boarding the taxi and took the one way drop to town. However it was billed at 1200Nu one way in the final bill and they refused to reduce it despite us highlighting and we ended up paying it. The staff may be working for a reputed hotel I really did not get the feel they really have been trained well to be compassionate and to listen to a client. There were quite a few instances where they were keen to repeat that even a glass of milk for the baby is chargeable ( 300 Nu + taxes) . Little things like these and how you say the things go a long way in differentiating brands.

The hotel just did not meet even the basic requirements of a Le Meridian property. The hotel was not even clean and the rooms were dark and dingy. The food was terrible and the restaurant had food and litter on the floor. Overall a very expensive but terrible experience

The toilet drainage system may have some challenge as at times as there is a strong ordour in the toilet. The restaurant menu can include some Chinese or Thai menu will be good. Too much Indian cuisine which may not suit international guests.

Disappointed with the food quantity. In room dining is not recommended. Mini bar was empty and bath essentials were not replaced on time.
Located close to the airport. It’s a lovely property and rooms were spacious enough for a couple!

The bed is too soft which may meet western standard but not sure asians. Woke up with a pain back. The bathroom door could not close completely. The front staff is working a bit slow while we waited for checking-in and little poor in communication.
