Chalets Belmopan Tiny Houses
Calle de Las Americas, Salvapan, Belmopan, Belize – Good location – show map
Surrounded my nature site and sound. Unique buildings that was clean and cozy.manager was extremely helpful knowledgeable and fun to talk to. Have already started to tell my friends about it.

Excellent little place. Cute comfortable. Wish we could hang out another day.

The tiny cottages were very cute. It was nice to be secluded from town and get a bit of nature. When I needed a taxi for the morning to get to the bus station the staff made sure to arrange it for me with someone they felt was reliable. They helped make sure I was getting on the right bus and getting around town okay. Ideal location if you have a car or are happy to bike a bit. I biked into town with a bike they provided and it didn’t feel that far to me.

The house was well equipped and maintained with basic but adequate cooking facilities. The bed was comfortable. Wifi was reliable. Hot shower and supplied purified water were appreciated. Good local information.

Secluded and peacefully, the host was super friendly and helpful and the tiny house in general was a great place to stay!

They now have WiFi with good speed. Location is away from center of town and is nice and quiet and different from the usual hotels. There is little around here so vehicle or bike is required. Lovely little houses with great people. Parking is totally safe.

Great host and very homely little cabin. Wished we had stayed another night or 2 but we needed to continue with our travel plans. A little out of the way but thats half the attraction!

Cute little house with all of the amenities. We had a car and it was easy to get to and get around. There were 3 other tiny houses around that were long term rentals and everyone there was very friendly. Nice firepit and garden area for relaxing. Plenty of fans to keep cool in the hot temperatures. Carreen was very friendly upon arrival. Great value for the house and amenities. Would definitely come back if in Belmopan again!

It’s a beautiful rural location easily accesible to the city and transport. Wi-fi available from the shop on the corner.

Surrounded by tropical vegetation, nice hammock in the shady backyard. Little cabana very clean with all basic stuff to cook, even salt/pepper/oil/seasoning/coffee.

The Belmopan Tiny Houses is a quality tiny house development that has 5 tiny houses that are perfect for groups, leisure and adventure guests, and other guests visiting Belmopan, Belize's Garden City! It is located only 5 minutes drive from the Belmopan Bus terminal and is set in a natural nature lovers environment! Each tiny house has a one bedroom with queen or double bed, and a loft which can fit 2 mattresses, a private inside bathroom, and a kitchenette and eating nook. There is even a campground where visitors can pitch their tents to get the full nature experience! There is a spacious boardwalk where visitors can chill and take in nature - listen to the birds, the howler monkeys, and other natural flora and fauna!
I am Carren and my favorite thing to do is travel and gain experiences of other cultures! I have traveled all over Belize and seen the most remarkable attractions of our beautiful jewel - my hope is that visitors like you can also experience all that we have to offer! Come and visit some of my favorite spots like Caye Caulker, Placencia, Seine Bight and Hopkins, San Ignacio and Belmopan! Come see our many attractions like Xunantunich (sun-an-ton-itch), the Actun Tunich Muknal cave system, St. Herman's cave and Blue Hole! Even come and do Victoria Peak (my most memorable travel experience of all my travels around the world!). I am a mom of 2 kids (hoping for more), am married to my boyfriend from junior college, I love to garden, love to make wines, jams, and pickles. I love making new experiences with family and friends and sharing my wide knowledge and skills! I hope to meet you soon and would love to provide any information you need to make your trip to Belize a wonderful experience!
Belmopan is know as Belize's garden city and was established after Hurricane Hattie in 1961 that caused great damage to Belize's old capital (Belize City)! It was built on some of Belize's best agricultural lands (everything grows!) and with only 20,000 population it is among the smallest capitals in the world! It is a green and lush environment! Some things I recommend doing include visiting the market and take a mini-van, which is an affordable public transport to Maya Mopan, Salvapan and San Martin where you will experience Mestizo and Maya culture (can you believe that women still wash in the stream in a city!), also visit the corn tortilla factories where you can see all the steps in making hand-made corn tortillas on an open fire - I love those tortillas! Belmopan is the home of our government (visit the National Assembly, the Governor General's House, George Price Center which has a display honoring the "Father of our Nation", and the Golden House in honor of Philip Goldson one of our most dedicated patriots!). Visit as well the National museum, the University of Belize, and many other areas walking distance in the city!
