Weit abseits vom Trubel in einer wunderschönen Waldgegegend und direkt am Caves Branch River kann man dort Dschungeltouren zu Fuß unternehmen und mit etwas Glück auch einige Tiere beobachten. Das Haus ist wunderbar gebaut und bietet jeden gewünschten Komfort. Zudem wird man von Hilario Mes, dem Caves Branch Guide, seinem Bruder und seinem Sohn (das Volk der Maya existiert noch!) hervorragend behütet und bei den vielen Tourmöglichkeiten beraten. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Die im Zimmer vorhandene Küche haben wir gerne zum Kochen genutzt. Auf Wunsch gibt es auch eine Wellness-Behandlung, aber die haben wir dann doch verzichtet. Dagegen haben wir mit Dank den angebotenen Wäscheservice in Anspruch genommen. Für Belize-Traveller mit einem Auto ist das Ghan Eden auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung wert.
