The proximity to the beach and restaurants! SO many options right nearby. It was harder to get to the main bus drop-off but not impossible. There was also a bus that would come right to the village and taxis were always available and the staff was helpful in calling one for me. Loved my morning coffee too!

Roy is very helpful when it comes to getting to and navigating local attractions. The facilities are good and the property is very eco friendly. Good central location within Hopkins. Hammocks on the property great for unwinding after a long day.

We booked a double room with private bathroom. It was very quiet and comfortable. Only a short walk (1min) to the beach. Roy and Anna are very nice hosts. I recommend the Funky Dodo as a home base to explore beautiful Hopkins!

Down to earth, friendly, helpful, and experienced owners and staff. Hammocks and lots of friendly people in the common areas. Convenient location for grocery stores, beach, restaurants, and an awesome bakery. Electrical outlets in all the right places, good internet in main common area, and clean, comfortable beds. Good efforts towards being environmentally friendly. Co-ed bathrooms were a nice concept.
