Owner was exceptional. She was very friendly and a joy to talk with, in spite of the language barrier. The facility was impeccably cleaned. The furnishings were beautiful.
United States of AmericaThe breakfasts were fantastic, and the conversations with the owner and other guests from all over the world were special. The owner spoke not only French, but was very fluent in English. The location next to a bus stop on a major line to Old Town Quebec City was a real plus, as were the free 3-day bus passes given to us. Also, the free parking in a small lot behind the facility was secure and eliminated a huge worry about what to do with our car.

The service received from the owner was exceptional. She was amazing, very thoughtful, she gave us great advice and was easy to communicate with. The breakfast was delicious and very complete. Overall a great experience and lovely stay.

If I ever make it back to Québec City, I will stay here again, if available. I highly recommend L’Arvidienne Couette et Café.

Lots of delicious, healthy food. I attended a school across the street and Mireille always filled my coffee mug to get me through my busy morning. I met some interesting travelers and enjoyed our visits at breakfast. Truly a very special and charming place.
