Parrsboro is a great place to stop.
Parrsboro is a great place to stop. There is a vacation feel to the town. It actually has restaurants to choose from which we didn't find to be the case in other parts of Nova Scotia. There are food choices for every budget from Tim Horton's to a Bistro. If you are visiting the Geo Park sites it is in the right location. We had a kayaking trip scheduled but it was canceled due to weather but there are other options such as museums and some shopping choices there.

Parrsboro is a pleasant village with an excellent geological museum. It could do with a larger choice of eating places but the Black Rock bistro is very good. It is a good base for getting to Joggins to see the fossils
