I love Campbell River mainly because our daughter and our granddaughter live there but also because it is a beautiful location and close to Quadra Island where we have spent many holidays at the First Nations campsite at Rebecca Spit.

Had a fantastic stay at Campbell River.
Had a fantastic stay at Campbell River. Our room was huge with a large balcony overlooking the sea. Beautiful timber ceiling. Loved watching whales, otters, geese and seagulls whilst we ate breakfast, sipped on drinks at the bar or over dinner. Beautiful property. So peaceful. Drove to Gold River. Amazing road with beautiful scenery. This is real wilderness. We just loved this area

Nice place for a staycation.
Nice place for a staycation. Went for a performance at the local theatre. Stayed one night. Easy to get lost, very spread out. But scenic, hills and lots of trees. Nice waterfront shopping area. Tried Potstickers, very tasty.

must admit have difficult time reach beach in quite a number of areas but a very lovely town to visit. the one evening had an excellent dinner at Moxies and the service was excellent. also had a really good fish and chip dinner across from the docks ( sorry can't remember name but if you ask around they come highly recommended!)
Any of the businesses (be clerks or owners) were so friendly and helpful. Most appreciated!
A real must is a visit to the museum found it was truly interesting due to the focus on Native art and history of Campbell River

Oceanside atmosphere, lots of piers, marinas etc.
Oceanside atmosphere, lots of piers, marinas etc. Obviously a major destination for fishers, anglers, boaters. Spectacular parks and waterfalls within easy driving distance - Strathcona Park (mountains, hiking, camping) 50 km away.

Love the Ocean, walking along the beach picking driftwood.
Love the Ocean, walking along the beach picking driftwood. Really liked the warfs with all the boats. Ate at Doc side Fish & Chips but wasn't very good. Bought a Hamburger & Onion Rings at Ripside Pub for $28 & it was burnt & Onion Rings.overcooked & Hard. Tried Pita Pit & it was awesome. I would not stay at my previous place & avoid some bad restaurant food. Yes it's easy to get around town.
Considering I had surgery in the morning at the CRH, this location is perfect. 5 minute drive to get to the hospital. We have stayed at this hotel every single time we come down. It’s our favourite. I loved the
Beach across the street and the view from our balcony of the ocean was stunning; what better way to wake up in the morning and see the sunrise over the water. I highly recommend this hotel and will continue to stay here any time I am in Campbell River. Absolutely love the staff members!
We got a lovely welcome text from the property while we were on our way up Island; the cabin was super clean and cozy. Bed was comfortable, all the necessities in the kitchen and nice little touches too by the owners. Right across the road from the beach and convenient location to everything in Campbell River. I would definitely stay again!
Breakfast was excellent, hearty for continuing on our cycle journey from Campbell River over to Quadra and Cortes Islands, and beyond by water taxi over to Lund and pedalling down the Sunshine Coast. Hostess was very friendly and helpful with directions and tips about getting around Campbell River and where to go eat dinner...
View was wonderful on patio outside of suite. Smell of the sea added to the experience
Very quiet and great environment to think.
The hotel was very cozy and had a very relaxing energy about it. Unlike the big chains, it had its own feeling and felt homey.
Beautifully decorated room in a central location. Lorrie is a wonderful host who prepares a delicious breakfast. She gives helpful travel tips to make our stay in Campbell River even more enjoyable. Highly recommend. Thank you, Lorrie!
I think this may be Campbell Rivers hidden gem. We walked through our room, where we could walk right onto the river itself and watch the fish jump and birds. You would never now that out the front was just streets.
Bathroom: shower was good

Breakfast was very good. The location was just where we wanted to be for this trip. The room was great. Parking was just adequate as we couldn’t park in the hotel lot overnight (was full).
The hotel is nice and very well located. It is a bit tired and could use some updating. The facilities are nice. Breakfast was limited and a bit disappointing
