This is a gem of a place remarkably close to Golden and the Trans Canada highway but feels remote and very private. Surrounded by forest, the chalets are each separated enough that we felt alone on the property. It was very relaxing, especially with our own very private hot tub. We loved the attention to detail as everything was thought of (apart from salt and pepper for the kitchen).

The Sun chalet is located in the basement of the Green chalet. It’s a spacious walkout basement with a giant sun room. We used the sunroom to sleep and let the two kids have their own room. The trails are right at your back door and Kickinghorse is only 20 minutes away. We had a broken toaster and ran out of propane on the first day. We called the onsite manager and he came by within 5 minutes of the call.

stunning, spacious, chalet with excellent facilities including a fabulous bbq in the balcony. nothing has been overlooked in providing a great outfit including a huge fridge and freezer for all the supplies you need. pristine cleanliness on arrival. after a great day in the mountains, you can't beat sitting in a hot tub looking out over beautiful scenery. Golden is an outdoor playground with access to days upon days of fun and this chalet complex just outside town is the perfect finishing touch to the experience.

Loved the location just outside Golden. The 2 bedroom chalet we were staying in had a great veranda with mountain views and a hot tub. The chalet was totally private so you felt you were in the middle of nowhere. I would also like to say that this booking was honoured for over 2 years due to the fact I was unable to travel due to the pandemic and I think that says something about the owners, so a huge thank you for doing this it was much appreciated.
