Liked the privacy. the gardens are lovely, will have to come earlier in the summer to see the full effects of the flowers. our room didnt look like the room we had but the room was fine. Found it very small, next time might book a larger room. It did say the room was their smallest room but just didnt expect it to be this small but served the purpose for us. It was very clean. Found shower very small but better then no shower. Found the people here very friendly and the breakfast was very, very good. Next time we will attend the meet and greet. Will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Canadathe inn is amazing , right down on the waterfront , with a beautiful court yard garden , The owners are extremely nice , the Breakfast was awesome , the whole experience was exceptional , we plan to return when we have more time to spend . We highly recommend the coopers inn , so very glad we chose them .

The Cooper's Inn is a remarkable Registered Historic Landmark property. It is lovingly maintained and boasts a quaint charm that guests love. It is comfortable and unpretentious. The private adjoining walled garden provides the perfect retreat to experience the calm.
As Innkeepers our concentration during our busy extended summer season concentrates on our guests. Loving to cook is a good thing. Preparing as many as 18 cooked to order breakfasts each day takes lots of preparation and planning. Each of us are active supporters of many community interests as well as being social members of Shelburne Harbour Yacht Club. Off season we both enjoy a bit of travel where we try to take time to learn about new cultures and communities in different parts of the world. Organic gardening, a love of nature and a healthy respect for life and family are important aspects of who we are.
Shelburne is a truly unique Town and Region. The amazing Shelburne Harbour is one of the most remarkable natural harbours in the world. It is uniformly deep and very large and very well sheltered. Large vessels can generally navigate it with few challenges. The are more original pre-1800, original wooden structures here than any other community in Canada and arguably North America. Dock Street is comfortable. It's easy to get around. It feels old as its history yet as fresh as today and somehow expresses a sense of calm that you really have to experience in order to appreciate. Local Dock Street Museums have something for every interest. Watch a Dorey being built or learn all about Whirligigs. The Shelburne Harbour Yacht Club and Sailing School attract both accomplished sailors and those that may want to learn the skills.
