CanadaThe evening staff lady. She was kind and gave me an excellent deal. Me being a frequent customer and always leaving my room in tact.
CanadaExactly what I needed (and expected...) I have stayed there many times over past 30 years. However, room was less than 10 degrees C when I arrived...so I adjusted thermostat, wrapped up in my fuzzy "blankie" with which I travel, and waited. Soon all was OK. BONUS ! Right next door is Thai Orchid, great restaurant ! As a very good home cook, I was impressed. I look forward to next year's visit.

A cable TV are provided in each traditionally furnished room of the Derrick Motel. A coffee maker and air conditioning are included. Kitchenettes are provided based on availability.
Barbecue facilities are open to all guests of the Derrick. Free coffee is always available and guest laundry facilities are located nearby.
The University of Alberta is less than 4.7 mi from the Motel Derrick. The Edmonton Valley Zoo is 15 minutes away.
Couples in particular like the location – they rated it 8.1 for a two-person trip.
