The breakfast was very good. My wife and I travel a great deal staying in fine hotels. Hastings House put a smile on my face. The room was very well laid out and everything worked so well.

Beautiful property, food was excellent. The Churchill cottage we stayed at was excellent, the only thing was I was told there weren’t any stairs to the bedrooms , which there was 4 big stairs and my mum has mobility issues. But she managed with my help .

It is a beautiful property. It overlooks the bay and has beautiful grounds where you can sit and look out. It is very pastoral. It is quiet and well-maintained. The restaurant is fantastic. I have not eaten food the good anywhere in the world. They even deliver muffins to your door every morning! An unbelievable piece of tranquility and an amazing find. It’s worth every dollar. We’ll be back next year .

Isolated, Near Ganges - could easily walk, Great Harbour views, Very friendly staff, All Canadians there as guests, Lovely well maintained gardens. Food and plate decoration tops. (Loved seeing the edible flowers used so extensively). Great breakfast choices. Great stay and place to celebrate our 60th anniversary.

A gorgeous hotel - didn’t eat dinner there but had breakfasts. This and service were great on the first day but by day 3 had wained. We were made to feel like we were annoying - asking for cutlery, butter and jam and coffee refills - the basics of breakfast. It's quite pricey so we were a little sad this was how our stay ended. However the location, rooms and morning muffins are a delight and you can easily leave your city life behind as you swim in coves and adjust to the pace of island life. This is a magical hotel and we only mention the breakfast as Its easily rectifiable.
