They couldn’t have breakfast because of staffing shortages. We had a room with EVERYTHING. Coffee, microwave, fridge. Shower was fantastic and SUCH comfortable bed. We had a little table in our kitchen with chairs for our own private deck with a beautiful view! And a couch if we had company.

We enjoyed our stay, the rooms were comfortable and well equipped with dishes, etc. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the view of the bay. The staff was super helpful and friendly, we'd love to come back!

Location was great and we loved the private deck overlooking the Annapolis Basin. This would be a great base from which to explore the Digby area. Unfortunately, breakfast was not available - this was on the website, but the ownership had changed since we booked and they were no longer offering breakfast.

Joanne and Albert are exceptional hosts. The most friendly and helpful people we came across during our visit to Nova Scotia. Hensley House is unique in character and has amazing views to Digby and a perfect sunset. Great location for a base to visit many great places

This inn is such a charming gem, from the property to the owners who run it! The whole trip from the moment when we arrived to the moment we left was memorable. The rooms are cute and the beds are heaven. I would have taken the pillows home with me if I could have. The rooms sit right in front of the water so make sure you leave some time to explore the beach and watch the sunset over Digby. Breakfast is delicious and we were treated to some songs by the extremely talented owner, Joanne. We cannot wait to come back and visit again!
