The property is very secluded and large with many options for guests. I would love to have a family weekend there as there’s lots of room and the facilities are very flexible. The hosts are great to chat with and learn about the history of the place and very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious with treats to travel as well. The building is made of logs and wood from the property and very well finished. A cozy deck overlooks a brook and is very peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay.
CanadaWe loved the privacy and the feel of seclusion this property offered. It was close to all the things we needed and wanted but felt like a hidden hideaway. It was very clean and housed all the comforts of home. Honestly Laura and Brian have thought of everything and more to make visitors feel welcome and at home. We will be back with friends and family for certain.

The Inn on the Intervale is a three-story log home offering 12 bedrooms, each w/full bath in Judique, Nova Scotia, at the entry point to Cape Breton Island, including the Cabot Trail, Bras d'Or lakes and Celtic Colours. Approximately 40 min scenic drive to Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs golf courses. The Inn on the Intervale is a unique, 15-year-old, 4,500-square foot log home with 12 full-bath bedrooms offered to travelers including two comfortable sitting rooms, as well as a screened-in sunroom porch overlooking the Intervale Brook. The lodge has sitting areas, a sun porch for relaxing or dining on the brook, a front porch, as well as spacious grounds surrounding the lodge, including a pleasant, grassy walk to the Intervale Creek. There is a fully stocked kitchen with a small interior dining area. The lodge was built by a Judique native, the late Duncan A MacEachern. The MacEachern family have now passed on the legacy of this magical property to Brian and Laura Pells to continue it's history and traditions. The Inn is a quarter mile down Stoney Brook Rd and we haven't a lot of neighbors! Our neighborhood is the magnificent Cape Breton forestlands and hillsides surrounding the Inn,
