Lovely self-contained cottages sitting high above the Athabaska River. Very clean. Everything we needed: cosy fireplace, comfy beds and full kitchen. Close to biking trails. Loved the communal fire in the evening with the drumming circle with a lovely First Nations lady, I believe her name was Matricia.
CanadaBeautiful view and room was comfortable. Great water pressure. Fire activities were fun as well. Great value that breakfast was included.

CanadaThis property was close to the ice fields where we went to see the Glacier. the lodge/Hotel and cabins have a river running right next to the property where you could sit and view the surrounding mountains. It was a beautiful spot. The decor of the restaurant was like stepping back in time. The food and the service was excellent! The bed was comfortable and we slept well , it was nice and quiet. There were other guests however we went during off season when the children are back in school. I would love to go back one day and stay longer!
United States of AmericaGreat location just outside the main street of Jasper. Loved the guest seating by the river and the yummy breakfast. We stayed in one of the lodge rooms (not cabins) - comfy bed and large communal living room. Loved s’mores time by the fire pit as well!

Set among the tall pines and overlooking the rivers of Jasper National Park, this lodge features a fine restaurant and wood-burning fireplaces. The town of Jasper is 1.2 mi away.
Local hardwoods and stones are used in the building of the Tekarra Lodge cabins and rooms. Each cabin also features a stone fireplace and a balcony.
Tekarra Restaurant serves an expert-made choice of local and global dishes in a quaint setting. Reservations may be needed on some nights.
Guests can hike the lodge’s trails or enjoy the children’s playground. Bikes, binoculars and portable DVD players can also be rented. No TVs are found at the lodge.
During the summer season, guests can enjoy an array of outdoor activities such as a fitness bootcamp, children's scavenger hunt and a magic show. The Marmot Basin is 28 minutes' drive from Tekarra Lodge. The Jasper Tramway is 2.5 mi away.
