Quiet, clean and spacious! Close to trails, hiking was awesome, beach area was great and views were nice!! Hiking to the grotto was fun, although a little wet due to rain! Owners take care of property and answer any questions you have polite and cordial! Breakfast would have been great but again property dealing with Covid, not able to sit down and meet ,converse with people.

The location was very quiet and within walking distance of the town, beach and hiking trails. The breakfast was good, served to order in our room each morning. There are a lot of outdoor seating areas on the property but no indoor common area.

Our stay at Lionheart B&B absolutely wonderful. The room code and check in info was sent that morning. It was easy and straightforward. Our room was very clean and inviting. We really liked the setup from the inside to our private bistro set outside. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. It was so comfortable and great to come back to after all of our adventures each day. The breakfast was delightful. We had a menu to choose from each night and were always satisfied and never left hungry in the morning. My partner was a huge fan of Doug's famous pancakes. The owner himself is so welcoming and kind. They put a lot of love and little touches into everything. It truly shows. Doug, the owner, is also really involved with the community and is happy to share some local history as well as some of the best spots around the area. We will happily be recommending this place to anyone as well as staying here again in the future ourselves.

    Hello Mina, We have two venues. The B&B hasd private entrance rooms with en suite baths. Hot breakfast, but no fridge or facilities. The guest house rooms have access to a shared kitchen. In your case, choose to stay in one of the guesthouse rooms

Nestled amongst trees and gardens, Lionheart Guesthouse and B&B is centrally located in the picturesque village of Lion’s Head. Lionheart is one property with two accommodation experiences to choose from. Lionheart Guesthouse is a red and white Victorian home, renovated in 2008 to maintain its original character and decor. The Guesthouse has 4 bedrooms with either an ensuite or private bath, WIFI, a shared sitting room, formal dining room, kitchen, and outdoor BBQ area. It can be rented by the room or as a full house (max. occupancy of 9). Lionheart B&B is the lower level of the owner’s primary limestone residence. The three available rooms include: ensuite bathroom, private entrance, free WiFi, daily hot breakfast, cable TV, and indoor and outdoor sitting areas. An electric car charging station is available upon request. Amenities within walking distance include: restaurants, grocery store, RBC bank, pharmacy, LCBO, marina, post office, hospital, hardware, ice cream and gift shops, the Bruce Trail, beach and playground, a shipwreck, and kayak rentals.
Doug and Marlene renovated and opened Lionheart Guesthouse in 2008 and built their private home and Lionheart B&B on the same property in 2011. Doug has lived in Lion's Head since 1958 and he is always happy to share his love of the Bruce Peninsula and the Bruce Trail. He has many tips for day trips and enjoys meeting and talking to guests.

Amenities within walking distance include: restaurants, grocery store, RBC bank, pharmacy, LCBO, marina, post office, hospital, hardware, ice cream and gift shops, the Bruce Trail, beach and playground, a shipwreck, and kayak rentals. The beach has become a favorite launch side for kayaks. One of the best paddles anywhere is along the shore of the escarpment. You will pass twin rocks, the horses butt, and the eagles nest, and on most summer days there will be rock climbers on the cliffs. You won't see any whales but you will be able to see the bottom as visibility is around 30 feet.
