We stayed at Maggie's on our family trip (four adults and two kids 4&1) to Cape Breton. It is a beautiful old house, decorated in vintage style with lots of antiques. The house is well maintained and highly clean; equipped with everything we needed and more. Uli the owner answered all our questions and requests in a kindly and timely manner. We couldn't be more pleased.
CanadaIt was a great pleasure to stay in a circa early 1900s well-restored home. We felt we were living in an earlier era, in the history of Nova Scotia, yet in good comfort, The grounds are beautiful, Maggie's Place located in a good location for touring the Cabot Trail, and the staff was extremely helpful in receiving us and helping us get set up. We felt lucky to have found and stayed in this place. Next year we'll return with one or two other couples ... the place can easily accommodate several couples with 2 living areas, a dining room, a well-appointed kitchen, 2 bathrooms, good internet and TV, but who had time to watch TV.

Es war für uns 4 ( 2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) , wie eine kleine Zeitreise ins vorherige Jahrtausend. Das Haus ist so wundervoll und das Feuer in der Küche vom Ofen/Kamin, war stets genauso warm, wie die Gastfreundschaft von Ulli und Tomo. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und obwohl die „alten Lady“ von 1920 ist, gab es zahlreiche Spiele, kostenloses Wifi und zuauch Netflix für Regentage. Wir wurden rundum versorgt und fühlten uns stets herzlich Willkommen. Das Haus hat einen ganz besonderen Charme sowie auch die Gegend um den Cabot Trail. Vielen Dank für die vielen Tipps zum Wandern, Fischen , zu Ausflugszielen und für den fangfrischen Hummer vom Fischer im Ort. Wir werden unseren Urlaub nie vergessen und hoffen bald wieder zurück zu kommen.
