Manna House is a self-catering retreat property providing welcoming, clean, quiet, private, safe and supportive spaces. Simple luxury in nature for short or long term ​retreats, ideal for: Individuals, Couples & Parties of up to 6 adults (i.e. 3 couples); Getaways, Sabbaticals & Creative Projects; Wellness & Rejuvenation; Meditation & Contemplation. We provide the resources you need to encourage and support your retreat, whatever your reasons and goals may be. Three independent, fully equipped suites, each with living & dinning areas, kitchenette; fireplace; queen bed; full ensuite bathroom; private entrance & deck/balcony/garden; ocean view Our guests come to stay in a quiet and contemplative atmosphere. We respectfully ask that you avoid loud noise (we suggest leaving cell phones off when not in use, ​and using headphones with computers and other devices) and only Vegetarian food may be cooked or consumed on the premises.

Manna House consists of two buildings, connected by a covered walkway, on 2 acres of ocean-front land on Denman Island; one of the Gulf Islands of British Columbia, Canada. Your hosts, Mark & Mitra, have lived and worked here since 2003; both are artists and long time practitioners of art and meditation.

Centrally located in the beautiful Gulf Islands of British Columbia, Denman Island enjoys mild & largely dry weather in spring, summer & fall. Most rainfall occurs from November through January. The average regional summer highs are in the mid 20°C range (70-80°F) & winter lows a few degrees above freezing.
