This is a cute little property within a 2 minute walk of Whiffin Spit. The suite we stayed in had a queen bed in the main living area, and 2 twins in the one bedroom. It has a very basic kitchen, with coffee maker and beans from a coffee shop in Sooke(wicked awesome coffee), and a basket of snacks in the kitchen, as well as some fresh baked muffins in the fridge.

Homely, quirky and comfortable. the best bed we have slept in for ages. Good position a short walk to the beach. private and the owner provided many little things including a welcome pack, with milk, cream, eggs, cookies and more. very thoughtfully presented.

We loved the Captain's cottqge! It was well stocked with extra blankets, coffee, fresh baked goodies and even cards/games. The beds were super comfortable and we slept 10+ hours a night! A hot tub faces gorgeous ocean views complete with eagles and otters.

We are located on the water, on the South West Coast of Vavcouver Island. From our Commercial Dock, we offer one of the best Whale Watching Tours, in World. Orca, Humpbacks, Very whales are abundant and seen nearly every tour. Sea Lions, Popoise, Harbour Seals, Sea Otters, River Otters and Bald Eagles are also part of every tour. Fishing Charters from our dock are available, part day or full day. Salmon and Halibut only 5 minutes from our dock. Great walks, beaches and hiking trails are everywhere and nearby. The World Famous by inGalloping Goose biking and hiking trail is nearby and is 43 miles long, starting in Sooke, to Victoria to Sydney.
Whale Watching, Fishing Charters, Day Trading, Lions Club, Legion, Arts Community, Fibre Arts Artist.
"Where the Harbour Meets the Sea". Salty Towers Marina - Where Sooke Whale Watching Tours are located and take to the Sea twice each day @ 10 am and 2 pm. Located at Whiffin Spit Park. The spit stretches nearly one mile out into the Sooke Bay with many beaches and areas investigate and spend the day walking your dog. We have Bald Eagles living at Salty Towers, Harbour Seals, Mink, Raccoons, River Otter, King Fishers, Humming Birds, Squirrels, Geese, Ducks, the odd Black Bear and a daily visit from the Trumpeting Swan. We have a Fantastic view of the Olympic Mountains located in Washington, USA. Cooper Room is a great eating place only a short walk from Salty Towers (1 block). Buffy' Pub, Wine and Beer Store is a short drive. Numerous beaches, the Sooke Pot Holes, hiking trails, and the Galloping Goose Trail near to Salty Towers Oceanfront Cottages.
