Fascinating historical property, close to botanical gardens and downtown.. Very cozy comfortable room and bed, great hot water shower, etc So convenient to have dining room just downstairs, we enjoyed excellent breakfasts and dinners there (didn’t eat anywhere else - except lunch at the Donut Shop!- over the 2 days we were there!) Server -can’t remember her name:( - on our last breakfast there was very nice and efficient but busy; but another employee Cynthia was outstanding!! She checked us in, was our waitress for breakfast and 2 dinners, ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed…what a gem! Unfortunately, although we did glimpse the owner in the dining room, and much as we would have loved to speak with him for historical reasons, that didn’t happen. Hopefully another time.

There are many things going on in the town of Annapolis Royal this summer. There are live music shows regularly in our new amphitheatre on the water downtown, we just finished our Natal Days, a 3 day holiday packed with fun events, there are some of the truly majestic Tall Ships coming on August 15 & 16, there is a top notch Dance Festival (FODAR) coming during the Tall Ships Week ending on the 19th of August. There is our own Upper Clements Park for kids which is a real magnet including the Tree Topper, a thrilling zip line ride! It is very safe here for children. Lots of people choose this place to live because of its safety, friendliness and openess. We are close to a large National Park where one can rent canoes and kayaks, walk trails and swim in its beautiful lakes. And lastly Annapolis Royal is known for its numerous shops and restaurants. So all in all lots to do for everyone! Come and see us, you won't be disappointed!
