It's pretty boring unless you're really into the dystopia vibe. Everyone is obviously struggling and every ad on the subway is about debt refinancing, depression or changing careers. Not much to do otherwise. Do yourself a favor and go to Montreal instead.
Someone wrote in an autobiography that when they lived in Toronto in the 40s they wished they'd die on a Saturday so they don't have to endure another Toronto Sunday and honestly, I feel that.
The Beaches are nice, and there are a few passable restaurants.

Toronto looks like a wonderful place to meet people, for food & nightlife. The parks are nice but unless you bring a dog there are nicer places around the world for that.
Roaming the streets on foot or by bike seems very comfortable and there's heaps of shops, restaurants and cafes to make the stay worthwhile.

There is so much to see and do in Toronto, you will not be bored, from visiting the aquarium, taking in a ball game or visiting Toronto Island you will find something to do. The transit system is easy to use and gets you where you need to be a lot quicker than taxis at times. We used the UP train for our ride back out to the airport and it is very clean, comfortable and quick.

Gorgeous, clean city.
Gorgeous, clean city. A lot of unique stores and Mom & Pop shops despite the commercial appearance of the city. You can really see the late 1700's influence in certain parts of the city. Some areas, such as the Distillery District, has a mix between the older 1800's style buildings and brand new 2020's style buildings.

The building and location is very nice and convenient.
The building and location is very nice and convenient. The check-in process was a mess. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment and they gave us a studio instead. We asked for a parking spot, but it was unavailable at the premises. The property management told us to find a nearby parking space, which is 10 minutes walking away. It was very stressful as we needed to find a parking garage at night in a snow blizzard and walk back to the condo with our languages in a foreign country! After 3 hours of calling booking.com and the property manager, we finally checked into the correct apartment. The property manager eventually assigned us a parking space in the condo garage, which we were glad about. BUT the parking fob was not working the entire time! We have to wait outside the garage for another resident to let us in every time we come back to the condo. The apartment was decent but one of the windows in the bedroos was not closed properly. It was so cold in the bedroom that we ended up sleeping in the living room the entire time. You can imagine how cold it was in a condo by the water. It was a single digit temperature during our entire stay. There is a "24 hours" messaging service that doesn't work. We texted them multiple times about the window and no one replied to us. They are supposed to refund us the deposit money after 1 week of check-out. We didn't get it 2 plus weeks after I contacted them for the refund. It was the WORST experience EVER!

Toronto has changed & grown so much since I last visited.
Toronto has changed & grown so much since I last visited. So many interesting tall buildings. Chinatown was the same. We had a nice lunch there. We also stayed at the Fairmont which was lovely and we could walk easily to places. We also had 2 dinners that were amazing! And the St. Lawrence Market is always a fun place to visit. Also went to a concert at the symphony.
What I liked is that the subway nr. 1 is literally under the hotel and you can get to downtown Toronto in ab. 40 minutes (to Union station for ex.) without the need to change to another line.
The room is nice and comfortable and there is a Nespresso machine with free coffee in the room.
I also liked that there are plenty of food options nearby (Greek fast food, pizza, Subway, Starbucks, Asian food), a local supermarket Loblaw is next door, so you can do your shopping easily. There is also a cinema close.
The location is great, close to downtown Toronto - walking distance to the main areas. The size and facilities are also good, there is really one room and one side room (open) with another sofa bed that is convenient. The view is nice. Overall, it's a good alternative to the pricier hotels in the neighborhood. The parking spot is also very convenient.
Very well equipped appartment with everything needed, perfectly located in downtown Toronto. It is very cosy, confortable and carefully decorated. The view from the bedroom is amazing. The host is super kind and thoughtful and was doing his best to make our stay perfect.
Would 10/10 recommend and would definitely be back.
The location of the hotel is good and close by to downtown Toronto. The metro is also near by and very convenient for us to go places. We didn’t have an issues finding the hotel and the parking lot is around the corner. The staff was very kind and help us with whatever we need. We definitely love our stay.
location is great - if you want to be in the middle of downtown Toronto. Given the recent politics / economy of Ontario, when night falls, the streets surrounding this hotel get crowded with homeless and transient people - who are harmless, but will certainly intend to engage you in conversation.
Great location (Old Toronto/Downtown) - great for public transportation. Probably a PITA for driving though.
Good vibe, style; historical building, old school elevator (historical part of the hotel).
Friendly & responsive staff, security at night time.
Contactless check-out.
The location of the hotel in the heart of Downtown Toronto was excellent. St. Lawrence Market is just steps away, and we could easily access the historic distillery district as well as the downtown core. The room was clean, staff friendly and would happily stay there again.
Pros
-Very close to the CN Tower, location can’t get any better for anyone visiting Downtown Toronto
-Luxury appeal and great furniture in the unit which was nice
-Nice local shops around for Restaurant and Bars
-Host was quick to reply regarding questions
The residence is located in the middle of downtown and thats a big plus! Toronto hotels are all very expensive and this seemed like the only option for me. There was security, so i felt save and it also had a good gym. also it offered a decent breakfast.
The apartment was very nice, the location was superb with close proximity to shopping mall, bus station, CN tower. in fact at the center of Toronto downtown, where i can access and exploit all Canada tourist attraction places.
This small hotel is a gem in Toronto downtown. Location is exceptional. Located at Clarence park, a spot frequented by cute doggos. Room exceeded my expectations. Clean, tidy. Bed was comfy. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Extremely spacious room included as a Booking.com Genius reward was definitely appreciated. Good wifi, large TV with cable, Keurig coffee maker and comfy bed. Hotel location was perfect for exploring downtown Toronto.
This is an ideal place to stay right downtown Toronto. Its very clean and affordable and offers the same amenities, compared to the traditional hotels. The staff was very friendly, patienty and helpful.
The location of the hotel is great. It has access to the subway which will take you to Downtown Toronto in 20-30 minutes. In the neighborhood there are plenty of restaurants and things to do.
Situated in proximity to the airport and 25 min to
downtown Toronto.
The weekend staff ( front desk, breakfast buffet)
were helpful and always available to answer any
requests
The hotel was very clean and has amazing views of downtown Toronto. This hotel is also close to everything downtown making it a easy walk down the street.
Clean, quiet hotel/room. Good breakfast included in my price. Good location, close to the airport, not a long drive to Toronto downtown or Niagara Falls.
