We loved everything about this property: location, building, cleanliness, access to the lake and hosts! We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all that this property had to offer. My husband and I were able to feel like the cabin was our home and spent every second enjoying the peace and quiet of the property.

This property is just perfect. It is so unbelievably peaceful and the view is just stunning. We stayed in the main house and it is so well done. very beautiful with everything you need. super clean and the hosts are just so lovely. The hot tub is lush to have a relax in surrounded by trees and they provide lawn games which are great fun. It’s a perfect take your foot off the gas relaxing get away.

    Hi Roy, Thank you so much for your question. Woodland Cabins is open year round and prices all depend on which unit type you're interested in and when you'd like to come.

  • In mid October should I have winter tires on? Driving from Calgary. ..
    It is extremely rare to have snow here in October. One year we had one snowfall in October but it melted quickly. The snow typically sticks around from mid-December to early March. Thanks for your question :)

  • Is this a private one bedroom studio with whole place to ourselves or or shared ?
    Hello, Thank you for your question. The micro cabins are private but the bathroom is shared in a detached building. (Mind you this year because of covid we decided to only open one micro cabin to allow guests to have private use of that bathroom.)

Nestled in the hills very close to White Lake, you'll find yourself in the middle of a nature and recreation paradise. We offer clean, comfortable, and modern accommodations without the frills that drive up costs (bedding and towels extra). Nestled in a woodland setting only 900 feet from the pristine waters of White Lake & 10 min from Shuswap Lake, Woodland Cabins feels miles away but is just 8 minutes from Hwy1, restaurants, amenities, and activities. This is the perfect place for a romantic getaway, celebrations, or just a relaxing retreat. *bedding option not available for single night stays. Swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, and recreation of all sorts are very close by while shopping, restaurants, golf, and other amenities are all within 10-20 minutes. Woodland Cabins is not a good fit for parties and celebrations.
Brenda and Shaun are your Woodland Cabins Owners and Hosts. We truly love helping guests. Please come to us with all your questions and needs. We are fully available to you during your stay and at the same time we respect that your privacy and space is important. We genuinely enjoy helping our guests so if you ever need anything we will do everything we can to make it happen for you. We can be contacted by email, phone, text, airbnb messaging, or just by ringing on our doorbell. We do live on site below rooms 1, 2, & 3 so this is not an ideal place to have a party, sneak in pets, or bring extra people.
White Lake is a thriving, natural, and picturesque community located 20 minutes north of Salmon Arm right in the heart of the Shuswap Lake region. Approximately 300 homes are nestled around the two lakes (White Lake and Little White Lake) and roughly 900 people call this home. The natural beauty of this place is everywhere. The lake waters are stunningly clear, the forests are mature and beautiful, and wildlife is abundant. All four seasons offer recreation at its finest including fishing, hiking, road cycling, mountain biking, swimming, ice skating and hockey, disc golf, a playground and sports court, camping, ice fishing, and more. The White Lake Community Hall is the hub of social activity hosting several dances, parties, and barbecues throughout the year. The heart of the community is the residents. People make time for each other here. Being neighbourly is at the core of who we are and yet the lifestyle here offers space and serenity when you need it.
