the accomodation was cozy, warm and inviting and our room was very spacious with amazing views. the staff went out of their way to make sure you were comfortable and well looked after . the attached restaurant served amazing authentic food and we ate there both nights of our stay. there was also a terrace outside where you could sit and really enjoy the surrounding views of the mountain.

It was quaint but tastefully furnished, and very clean. The bathroom was clean and spacious - not something we’ve experienced in Switzerland generally (bathrooms tend to be on the small side). My sister was very pleased with the bathroom and said she didn’t feel like she had no space to turn for once! The room was really wonderful. And even the communal bathroom on the first floor was spotless, nice-smelling (rose petal scent) and such a pleasure to use. The property seems to be family-run and we were welcomed very warmly. The lady at the front desk (Ruth?) made us feel particularly at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - I will most certainly stay here again if I visit Murren again, and will also recommend it to my friends and family!

I loved this place. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The room was larger than expected and very comfortable. Beautiful views and even a little balcony. Plenty of fresh air, even large windows in the bathroom. The restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced (I ate there every night, even though there were other options nearby). I can’t say enough good things. Looking forward to coming back. I didn’t rate it higher only because it wasn’t a super premium hotel, which isn’t what I expected anyway. In terms of value, it’s a 10/10.

Amazing! After spending a few nights in the neighborhood, we wished we came here earlier. Excellent room with a unique spirit and a fantastic view, very warm atmosphere and the hotel keepers, and a lovely breakfast with fresh local products. Great discovery, will return again!
