Location was breathtaking, view from our balcony to the lake was the highlight of the trip. The room was large and comfortable including a small loveseat sofa (fits 2 snuggly) and a separate chair. Breakfast was very good. The walk to the main plaza was just a few minutes away downhill. Staff was very professional and willing to help on any questions we had! Parking is inside the hotel itself, it's a separate charge per day. Would recommend without hesitation, would love to be back soon!

Hotel Belvedere Locarno is a 4-star superior hotel on a beautiful sunny slope above Locarno and offers spectacular views of Lake Maggiore and the mountains, an indoor pool and modern wellness and fitness facilities. All rooms are facing south and offer superb views. A large indoor swimming pool with outdoor part is available. Oasi Belvedere offers steam baths, laconium, fitness facilities and beauty treatments. Outdoor activities include petanque, outdoor chess and table tennis. Within a few minutes by cable car or on foot you can reach the city center (Piazza Grande) of Locarno, the lake or the railway station. A free shuttle service to and from the train station is available. The Belvedere's restaurants serve delicious local and Mediterranean cuisine, which you can also enjoy on the garden terrace.
